Went to a field trip to Utz in middle school. Freshly made regular Utz are amazing. So crisp and actually taste like potatoes.

Grandma Utz are the single best regular unflavored potato chip available. Three ingredients: potatoes, lard, salt. Crunchy, delicious. Absolute best.
Herr's makes the best Jalapeno chip if you like those. I used to be able to demolish an entire bag in one sitting.
For Crab Chip, I prefer Herr's because you can get kettle cooked crab chips. Utz crab chips are pretty good if you want a thinner, crispier crab chip.
Herr's also makes these babies:
Old Bay Cheese Curls. They are so good. SO GOOD. I don't buy them anymore, because I have little to no self control around them. They're that good.

I live in Los Angeles. I'm from DC.
Every once in a while I buy a BOX of UTZ from the company.
It doesn't ever last more than a few days because all of my friends from the east coast DEVOUR it.
UTZ is the best EVER.

Thanks for all of the replies guys. Seems utz is the best, but that herrs has some good niche stuff that utz doesn't make.
Also, I'll definitely be getting some utz pretzels because I like making spicy pretzels so that will be amazing as well.
What about popcorn? I noticed that utz and herrs also makes some good looking butter popcorn and other flavor as well.

As far as regionally limited potato chip brands, this is the GOAT:
I've had Utz once or twice, and Herr a bit more often, never had anything made by Wise though.
Mikesells is worse than all three in the OP. It's what parents buy when kids have been bad.

They dont have as many options as the others but they are the best tasting chip. Probably my favorite BBQ chip ever and their Salt and Vinegar is just OMFG
Why not Snyders?
Isnt Snyders widely available? I think they used to be rare but they merged with somebody. I know I have friends in the midwest that can find them easily.
The pretzel pieces that you posted are excellent. They recently came out with the Jalapeno one thats godly.
From where I am they've always been available, but I think they are more wide-spread now.
Not all Snyders products are good, but they have some kick-ass bites.

we used to do the Herrs factory trip in school. Some reason everything just tasted better there.
As for the Op, Herrs kettle cooked chips are the only thing I eat nowadays

Damn I miss UTZ chips. Used to find them when I lived in NC, but in MI unless it's Lay's, it's shitty Better Made chips.
