This is cool but I am confused. Wasn't L4D worked on by Turtle rock then picked up by Valve? I would have assumed it would be in source not 1.6 any testing. Unless turtle rock started their work in 1.6/gold engine?

Yeah it always surprises me we never got modern console releases of L4D2 or TF2 for that matter.
Especially with how big Overwatch was for awhile, TF2 on consoles could've been huge if they actually kept it at update parity with the PC version. Feels like Valve is leaving s lot of money on the table there
