Valve's Portal trailer (true innovation is here)

The requirements have been released:

Looking at the trailer I realised how unimportant graphics can be if you have a kickass idea.
But then I noticed that they have motion blur and is that depth of field aswell? You can clearly see the gun is blured.

This game is something else. it's crazy

All Valve did was hire the College kids that were doing this on their own.
Yes, bravo Valve for hiring those kids!!

Seriously, Valve is operating on a different level of existence.

When I complain about nextgeneration .. this is what I am talking about. All I have been seeing are old game ideas with slightly better graphics. Finally, a company that is taking new ideas and then using the technology to make it. That's what next generation should be.

I can totally see this inside Episode 2 and 3. Oh God, just think in the multiplayer, it is going to be every bit as awesome as nausea inducing.

Prey just got served.

This is pretty much the only reason (along with Spore, I guess) I can think of to put my Windows desktop back together.

One of those puzzles will probably end up killing me.
And I love how you can make a high vertical jump down into a portal and it will shoot you out horizontaly from an end portal.
