You probably really shouldn't make assumptions about things you don't know. Norman Reedus isn't exactly a HUGE hollywood actor. He's best known for a dying TV series in which he wasn't even the main character until this past season. Death Stranding likely sold at least 2 million copies which is far from a bomb. It was never going to be a God of War or Spider-Man and sell 10 million.Now compare the game budget, I think Norman contract alone already dwarfed the entire RingFit budget

The fact is it was in the top 10 on PS4 for one of the busiest months of the year. That isn't bad by any means. It's really funny just how salty you are over Death Stranding.

. While RingFit Adventure didn't have any of that kind of star power in marketing now combined all of those actors in DS vs RFA.2m units for AAA holiday blockbuster is a definition of bomb.

Not in context. NFS sold more in a single week than any other need for speed this generation, for reference that reboot in 2015 sold over 2 million lifetime, heat outdid in a week, DS coming in behind means it at-least pushed 1 million.

Top 10 in the second month of release only on PS4 chart doesn't sound good.

Again the game likely has sold over 2 million worldwide. Benji also isn't the most reliable source on things. He only gets limited data and only for the US region. PlayStation has a much larger install base in Europe than they do here. The game has done fine for them and no amount of trolling from you can change that. It outsold well known games like Gears 5 and is getting recognized in awards more than any other game of 2019. Seems like a hit to me.

We already have data for US in December and November for Death Starnding and a few other countries after its launched performance.
In Japan, DS only sold 20k in the biggest month in sales calendar while RFA sold nearly 170k
In Germany, Death Stranding didn't chart in the top 20 of December and outsold by RFA. It was the same in France as well as other countries like Spain, Taiwan, Korean, and etc.

RFA is also a new IP and selling more than Death Stranding without any digital number.
Arms was considered as a disappointment despite selling nearly at 3m units.
For AAA holidays blockbuster title from Sony to sell around Arms number in 106m userbase isn definitely not a good result for any company.

I'm pretty sure Death Stranding numbers are OR WILL BE in ballpark of Detroit Become Human ( around 2-3 million ). That's fine for a new IP and for a game which isn't for everyone ( like Detroit too )

Apart from Sony and Nintendo, what other console manufacturer has a game/s in the best selling games of 2019?
This should be a bulletin point....ROW paints an entirely different picture.....One which is much more endearing to PS exclusive games...….People need to know that US is not the World, it's only one market......PS4 kills in the US, but ROW is where Sony decimates.....

mhm..... I'm sure spiderman sold like a million copies in December in the U.S. Spiderman is probably going to be a top 3 selling game in playstation first party history.... behind maybe LAST OF US and UNCH 4. So I wouldn't be surprised if DStranding sold like a million or so copies in the U.S.
