Video games with inspiring characters

Just wanted to share this cutscene because it's one of my favorite moments in the game:

"If we challenge ourselves, and never give up, our own horizons will broaden... in our hearts and in our minds. I need to push myself every day. I have to know what I can accomplish... I never give up, and so far, nothing has ever stopped me."

Then there's this cutscene:

"Before I go, I just want to say that I've never met a more pitiful bunch in all my life. If you lose sight of one dream, replace it with another. Think about how much you could have accomplished in the time that you've spent here. Just because you couldn't cross the Dark Rift, are you going to sit here for the rest of your life? Because you tried something once and failed, are you going to throw the rest of your life away? There's a whole world out there to see! Don't you have any desire to sail again?"

Vyse always keeps it real. Honestly, it's one of the reasons that I want to see a remake or sequel of this game so that newer generations can experience that kind of inspiring dialogue, on top of the fantastic gameplay, story and world to explore.

Do you have any inspiring characters from a video game that come to mind?

Inspire Nobility, loyalty, simplicity, kind heart, bravery, concern for other people, intelligence, always positive attitude. It is the true synonym of Hero.

With her smile it makes many people happy.

Interior and Exteriorly is a very beautiful protagonist ... she is very attractive.

My Kat inspires me because she is always perseverant and is very brave, besides that she always has a positive attitude and is very simple. I love her such much, forever and ever she will be my perfect heroine.

For me is the best Character of any game ever!!!

The evil within 2. The protagonist and story is all about redemption, confonting fear and overcoming it.

This is legitimately an amazing quote. Need to play Skies of Arcadia now.

The gate keeper in Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction cinematic. It takes big ass balls to stand up to an army of demons with Baal at their helm.

Kainé from NieR. A fantastic character with great development and backstory without going into the edge-lord territory. Her gradual shift from a pariah into an adoptive mother is a sight to behold.

apex legends' wraith, basically has psychosis / schizoaffective disorder but she's a bad ass dimension shifting soldier who keeps it together

some shit on apex's character designs, but i think the're going to age like fine wine over the coming years

I can't think of a single one.

Plenty of game heroes are cool alright, but inspiring? I can't say that for anybody. Most of them can be summed as being efficient at killing things, hardly anything uplifting.
Always solving problems with violence and killings is not inspiring.

I'm finding this pretty hard, sadly. I've liked a lot of game heroes without finding their character so strong as to be inspirational. Maybe it's been a long time and I'm forgetting someone. I either don't know or don't feel the same about examples given so far, though.

Perhaps Welkin?

Tassadar, maybe?

He's like the Jesus of Starcraft. Sort of.

I'll go with Tassadar, that's the best I can come up with.

Haku from Utawarerumono was a really good example of a character keeping his personality but growing throughout the story. Absolutely awesome game in general too.
