There is this one badass forum I've seen that has a TON of them on it. It's a great place to also meet live nude girls and get a free PS3. This viral Marketer witchunt isn't amusig to me. VMs can email the guy in annonymity, Mods and Admins can find out who a VM is by themselves. Do we really need 20 pantymen running around pretending they know who is a viral marketer and who isn't? some people are just naturally interested in a subject and yes, some people take that interest and twist it into an obscure and unhealthy obsession WITHOUT getting paid for it.

I don't think I could ever market on this site. Were I to say: "I must say with no lies that Driv3r was ten times better than the entire GTA series put together", I think someone would trace my IP, track me down, tie me up and kill my mother in front of my very eyes.
That said, the revealing of viral marketers has become this new Red Scare and I'm not sure how I feel about that. Yeah, it's nice to know that some of us are bullshitters, but it's hard to talk about how much you love a current game without being "outed" by paranoid forum goers.
By the way, I totally agree Crispin. EGM suxxorz. :lol (tell Shoe "hi")

In a manner of speaking. Jaded doesn't even begin to describe it. We have a SALES ARCHIVE. We argue numbers and advertising strategies constantly, so if a VM comes in with a formulaic shill, it just stands out.
Now if they actually get away with it here, then they definitely deserve every cent they've earned. I wonder if we command a premium...

thats bullshit. Gaf is a pushover. I fooled the entire gaming forum by pimping The Outfit for like 3 months. Little did they know i was handpicked by Bishop personally. It was like the scene in Escape from New York where the guy brings Snake into his office and offers him the mission to go to New York and rescue the president, and i was Snake and Bishop was the guy from The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, only it happened over the internet and not in a real office.
