Out on 3/9 for the North American eshop.

Destructoid - 8.5/10

Voez is a diamond in the rough, at least as far as the Nintendo Switch eShop is concerned. The system's launch went from zero (or just Zelda) to hero in seconds flat, and as long as you're okay with a lack of a TV mode, Voez is a worthy pickup.

4Players - 8.5

Nintendo Life - 8/10

VOEZ is a beautiful rhythm game with a generous supply of songs and gorgeous artwork that makes you want to keep going back for more. The rhythm gameplay feels accurate and fits the songs nicely for the most part, particularly in harder difficulties, with a nicely designed learning curve to allow players to get into the swing of things.

Really interested to know how much content are you getting for the initial price and if there's anymore that needs to be unlocked via microtransactions (if they are even impemented on the Switch).

There's none.

You have like 100+ songs to play from at the beginning.

No additional content has to be unlocked with microtransactions, however, they are know for constantly updating the game with new songs (mobile at least) so I would expect new songs in the future, however, since this is a console, they might be in packs instead of individual songs, who knows

Gonna buy this when my Zelda obsession starts dying down. Loved it on mobile but I just wouldn't play it much right now. Looking forward to it though.

I bought it. To play between Zelda sessions. Really therapeautical and simple fun. The songs are great and it gets really challenging in the harder songs. Heaps of variety too in the tunes (not any metal so far though).

I got big hands and reaching across the screen is kinda hard unless the joycons are detached. Touch screen feels great.

Highly recommended (au store $27).

Many thanks, gonna grab the game as soon as I get my hands on a Switch then, big fan of the mobile version.

Scheduled for Wednesday in NA

Hot damn, yes.

I don't mind Nintendo putting mobile games on their store as long as they keep strictly to quality games like VOEZ. It honestly seems like a perfect fit.

I don't have a Switch. How much do I have to pay on the mobile version to get access to the same content of the Switch release?

$80, and you won't get one Switch-exclusive song.

Also, you're paying for keys to unlock individual songs, so you'll have extra keys left over, and more songs that come out in the future will need more keys.

(Right now you need 113 keys to unlock all songs, and you get only 6 free keys by playing the game, so the best deal is to pay $40 twice to buy 110 keys and have 3 left over.)

Hrm, I tried this on mobile and it just didn't click with me. Presentation seemed really generic, and it's not the worst game, I just prefer more games like Melody's escape, EBA, or Theatrythm

The few songs I played on mobile were awesome - I love how the note charts are "choreographed" along with the music - and I'm excited to be able to buy the whole thing for a sane price, lol.

I may pick this up, but I'm still unsure how you're supposed to hold the Switch to play it.

I feel like this is the sort of thing that would best be played laid down like a piano, with two hands completely free.

Great value for a good game. Not a great game. But solid portable title.

Indies stepped up where there was nothing but Zelda.

This game is kinda buggy on my phone, I have sounds in the menus but the music does not play in the actual game. Might pick this up when I get a switch eventually.
