Out of that list my choice would be Cooper, but my choice would be Jeffrey Donovan from Burn Notice on USA.

I'd love it, only if he gets to narrate the whole thing. :lol :lol

Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern makes absolutely no sense. Why do you think James Marsden was killed off in X3? Because the idiot was in Superman Returns.

RR will not get the part.

He has the action movie experience the other two didn't. No brainer to me.

glad to see we're not stooping so low as to cast Justin Timberlake in any more movies. So yeah I'm fine with this, I do like Reynolds.

Anyways, I like the choice of Ryan Reynolds, even if he has landed a couple of prior comic book roles. However, he still better be Wally whenever the Flash film happens.

sneak edit?

But I’m wondering how this may effect Marvel/Fox’s preliminary plans to have him play Deadpool in a stand-alone film.
affect or effect?

Good for RR. Hope he gets some good luck with the story

Ryan Reynolds = that super hero playing guy.

How many adaptions will this be now? I forget he was in Blade Trinity :lol

Ryan Reynolds is awesome. He did the best he could with the shit scripts for Blade 3 and Wolverine.

I hope this doesn't affect Deadpool though.

This sucks. Not because Reynolds is bad but because I would have preferred him to be The Flash.

I don't think there's a Flash movie remotely on the horizon right now, so it wouldn't have happened anyway.

I guess you're right. Just did a little snooping around and The Flash movie was set to be a spin off of the Justice League movie.

Yeah I'm sure this won't affect Deadpool at all.

And by not affect it, I mean Deadpool is dead and buried.

Well as little as a week ago, Reynolds was talking about how the movie is going to break the 4th wall. It's in early development so it's definitely happening.

I'm hoping he ends up doing both. He was obviously in GL talks while talking about Deadpool.

I like Reynolds, I just am disappointed that he got the role.

Deadpool and The Green Lantern. Hell, might as well cast Tobey as Flash now. :/

They fucked up the Thor casting, I'm preparing for when they're gonna fuck up the Captain America casting. :(

You mean the same Reynolds who said this before Wolverine...

“I’m not going to get into exactly what’s going on with his mouth, particularly because he is ‘the merc with the mouth…’ But it’s going to be pretty interesting when people see it. People are going to be blown away and have a deep appreciation for what it is and how that character fits into this universe.”

I actually was thinking this too.

"My name is Hal Jordan, I am a man without fear"

I think he'd be pretty good in the role personally:lol

I don't think it matters that much who actually plays Green Lantern, relatively-speaking. Much more critical is how they're going to make the Green Lantern work in a live-action film without either sending it into a clusterfuck or ruining the character. You can bring any actor on board and it won't matter if the studio can't get that right.
