I'm stuck until they patch the major bugs of the DC. I'm bored. So, I decided to create a new party (
again) with unique portraits this time. I've read that we need high Charisma (25, unless they lowered the requirements with a patch?) to recruit every single companion, so I decided to make a new team for that. My leader will take the Radiant Personality perk (question: does it affect only her Charisma, or the whole party's charisma?).
Base charisma: 11.
Charisma boosted (leader only): 19.
Charisma boosted (whole team): 22.
In any cases, my followers will provide the 3-6 charisma points I need to reach 25, and there are also trinkets if need be.
So, lo and behold, this is what my final team will (probably) look like:
Sierra is obviously the leader. She will make a beeline for the Radiant Personality perk (Smart Ass 5 required). I still don't know if I give her Handgun or Submachine Guns at first. I will probably give her Energy Weapons later. Her high Charisma will allow my teams to spread out a little more without having to worry about losing the Leadership buff (and I really dislike my followers going rogue). May have to take the Surgeon skill just so Minwu doesn't end up dead if he is down.
Dying Wolf will be your usual sniper, in charge of Lockpicking and Demolitions.
Milda will be my close ranged fighter, and she has the stats to be very effective at her job (9 action points, 13 combat initiative, 2.6 combat speed). I'm not quite sure which other skills I should give her though. I gave her at least 1 in Field Medic just so she could heal herself easily if she needs to.
Minwu will be the medic of the team, also in charge of Computer Science and Safecracking (he has the Intelligence to take care of both skills).
We really need to take a good look at the perks: some of them are very, very interesting (Leadership perks give an AoE which reduces the accuracy of enemies' attacks, for example, stacking to a maximum of -17%; fighting perks can also be quite brutal if you specialize in one weapon in particular).
I will just rely on Angela and
for the Outdoor man skill (at least at first, until I discover a more interesting follower). And I guess I will find someone else with Hard Ass and Brute Force.
By the way, you can find
here the list of bugs for the DC version. Yeah, until they patch those, I won't play... Which is annoying, since I really want to play this game now.
