watermelon is the absolute best fruit there is ... especially now that they've managed to remove the seeds

i tend to like all fruit that is fresh but nothing beats a nice cold watermelon on a hot summer day

In my head cantaloupe is trash melon. I made the mistake of blurting that to my kids once, it spread, and now most of my wife's family refers to it as "trash melon," even when enjoying some.

I feel a little bad about this.

Watermelon is amazing - about 1/5 of the time. I'd say there's roughly 20% chance each that it will be amazing, good, average, pretty bad, or very bad. Honeydew and cantaloupe are similar, but maybe a little less likely to be bad.

Mango is the king. Unless it's not ripe yet or too ripe, mangos are almost always amazing.
