I haven't been following twitch for a while, is there a category for discussion? More or less just talking. Or is it still a no no?
I believe there's a talk shows category.

I'd watch attractive people taking dumps.
I have no quantitative reasons for that.
Well hell. There it is. It's even weirder than I thought.
well i mean the playroom has been out since 2013 but twitch banned so i guess this is new to them
and wow some people dont even know about ASMR videos huh

I might just as well get ahead of the curve and start streaming myself using the bathroom.
Stream yourself while sleeping. See how people donate you money while you are dreaming.
If this means more eating on a Giant Bomb stream, I'm all for it.
I think governments should do something to encourage basic human interaction. Technology is nice and all, but there is a limit for everything.
*They do it to simulate a social situation. The viewer is not socializing.
People do it to socialize. Especially people who live by themselves, they can feel like they're eating with someone. It's crazy popular in South Korea lol
lol you sound like those people who say you can't have internet friends. There's interactions going on between the viewers and the streamer. Simulation or not, lonely viewers may not feel so lonely during and after.
I'm sure there are sites for thatCan't wait for poopping broadcasting
Why do you think that? This is kind of sad, since I imagine it'll be primarily for people who are incredibly lonely.
Why do you think that?
I can't imagine another reason for someone either wanting an audience to eat with or wanting to watch someone eat.

Don't bring my boy tony into thisI mean Anthony bourdain made a career out of people watching him eat.
I already didn't get the appeal of streaming. Now its like we've crossed over into the fucking Twilight Zone.
Obviously we're all here having a conversation on a forum right now, so I don't think anyone is saying digital interaction is bad. But it's worrisome if people are using digital substitutes to such an extreme that they're viewing other people eat as a means of feeling like they're sharing a meal with someone who's not really there.
But maybe i'm just the old man yelling at clouds here.
I'll subscribe when I can watch someone sleep.
I once watched a guy wash his dishes for 2 hours on Twitch. Quite a novelty to watch him get donations during that.
.People love watching attractive people
I thought ASMR was the stupidest shit ever, and none ever worked on me. Until this one, I have been converted and it's amazing:

Whenever someone brings up twitch or any of those other streaming services it just baffles me that people watch them. Regardless of who/what is streaming, I just don't see the entertainment in it.
Maybe I'm just too old, but my free time is very limited with job and kids and when I have a break I don't want to sit around watching someone else play video games, talk, eat, poop, play guitar, watch movies, etc.
I'd rather do all those things myself, thanks.
