When I play Destiny it seems like raids have escape room mechanics, with problem-solving, scouring surroundings, etc.

I know my wife enjoyed this series on Android after looking for something to scratch the escape room itch.
If you have VR, there is a Room VR game too. There's also I Expect You to Die, which I just bought on sale last week and has pretty good reviews.

OP have you ever tried Prince of Persia series?

If not, they're really good. Also cheap.

edit: Titanfall 2 also has its gtfo type of moments which are really engaging
