The Auger from the Resistance series. In single-player, it was pretty fun viewing enemies standing idle at their spawn points & just shooting them dead through the walls. In multiplayer, it was even more fun getting into standoffs with others, then at the last moment dropping a shield barrier for cover as you went in for a melee hit to finish them off.

The Gauntlet of Zeus from God of War: Chains of Olympus comes to mind. Bashing the shit out of enemies has seldom felt as satisfying as when bashing them with the Gauntlet. It might be my favorite bashing weapon ever. Say what you will about Chains of Olympus otherwise, but this weapon is just awesome.
