What Are You Playing?: Long Week-end Edition

Pokemon Pearl
Sam and Max Hit the Road
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles

Might head down to EB tomorrow and pick up Etrian Odyssey since I've wanted to all week but haven't had the time.

Played through all three Jak games. Loved the series as a whole, but Jak 2 is INCREDIBLY LONG. Longer than Jak 1 and Jak 3 put TOGETHER.

Yeah, I beat the first game with all 101 power cells in about 8 hours. I'm already 10 hours into Jak II, and I haven't done any sidequests.

Every time there is a lull with new releases, I tell myself I'm finally going to dig into Final Fantasy XII instead of just playing thru the first few hours every couple of months. Maybe this weekend will be the time I actually do it.

-Final Fantasy 3 on my DS
-Gunpey on my PSP
-Final Fantasy 10 (again, with my girlfriend doing the actual playing while I suggest what to cast.)
-and of course the Halo 3 beta

My copy of Etrian Odyssey won't arrive at home before monday so i'm killing time with Picross DS and The Nightmare of Druaga.

A little bit of Final Fantasy III

final_fantasy_12_box_art.jpg

Bits and pieces of FFXII, I can only handle it in spurts. I'm clocking in at around 48 hours now.

I'll be playing Exams: The Final Showdown

*sigh* Studying for them will be fun.

I'll also be playing a bit of DQ VIII, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and Ar Tonelico.

Etrian Odyssey
Tony Hawk American Sk8land
Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin

Barely started the first two (just created my skater and logo in Tony Hawk) but I'm at 965% and level 60 in Castlevania. Sooo close to getting everything and beating the game. I really hope I don't end up hating Etrian Odyssey. I'm already a little put off by certain aspects of the gameplay.

MLB Show 07 PS3
Halo 3 Beta
Calling All Cars

Beyond Oasis (Virtual Console)

about 4 hours in and I just got the "big cube" for the evil bastard and have to meet him at the cave...

awesome game, I would highly recommend it to all the Zelda fans - the only thing I'm not impressed with is the music, which is nowhere near as good as the rest of the game (which is great).

Is "be jealous of all the beta players while you're stuck with sattelite internet in the ass end of east bumble****" a game?

Trudging through PSU single player, starting to lose steam at chapter 6. This is a game I play when I'm listening to podcasts, because i don't have to think enough about either one to do them alone. :D

Condemned continues to entertain, hope to finish it this weekend.

I played Halo 2 offline only, and let me just say that some people play way, way too much Halo. :)

I'm feeling like I might go buy Resistance or something today, but we'll see.

Working overtime at work 2 out of 3 days so no gaming for me, sunday will be doing the groceries and having fun with my kids outside. Well I will be gaming next week (working evening shifts, so I have my mornings for me)

Just finished Hotel Dusk: Room 215, and before that I finished Zelda Twilight Princess (Wii) and Phoenix Wright 2.

Now, it's Picross DS all the way, with some Excite Truck in between. Picross is genius. And it's so incredibly addictive! I can't believe how easy it is to just sit and play it for 3-4 hours without even thinking about anything else. A perfect game for the DS.

I am playing God of War 2 and Final Fantasy XII BUT!...
Its taking forever since this week and the following two i am having more fun developing a game with my team. :D

All quick play session games for now given how good the weather has generally been:

Centipede/Millipede XBLA -- the updated versions are unusually well-done

The Rub Rabbits DS -- an under-rated little game, perfect for even a spare two minutes worth of play

Cars 360 -- not my usual fare but liked the demo and decided to pick up after drop in price, one of very few such licensed games I've ever picked up, but fun to play in vibrant HD; also a go-to for younger relatives

Raiden III PS2 -- glad I didn't go cheap on this one as I'm enjoying it more than expected

I am still playing Final Fantasy XII

and because of another thread here about Looney Tunes game on 360, I decided to go back to some classic goodness in The Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout
