August:

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle
Yakuza Kiwami

September:

Destiny 2
Cuphead

October:

Super Mario Odyssey
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

Oh boy... gonna be an expensive few months. There are a few games I'm still deciding on, depending on how well they are received, but the above are pretty much guaranteed day one purchases from me.

Other games I'm interested in (but will likely wait for a sale):

Crackdown 3
Star Wars Battlefront II
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (if it even releases this year)
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
Forza Motorsport 7
Assassins Creed Origins

I do wish there were more multiplayer games that interested me this year, aside from Destiny 2. That's about the only reason Battlefront II is in consideration for a purchase.

Edit: Totally forgot about Need for Speed Payback. Looks like it might be similar to Burnout 3, so I'll be keeping my eye on that one too.

I guess just Star Wars Battlefront 2.

I plan to also get Wolfenstein 2 and Metroid Samus Returns but probably not day one. I'm just holding out hope that Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice gets announced for Xbox One. If it's not heard of by end of year I'll buy that one for PS4.

Etrian Odyssey V without a doubt, easily my most anticipated game of the year, Dungeon Crawling at its best. Hope we get the FM-synth DLC with it.

I've also got Culdcept Revolt on preorder, excited for that.

Finally Monster Hunter Stories, not sure about this one. It's on preorder, it looks good, but from what I've seen it reminds me more of some boring level-5 RPG. I want to be completely sold on it, but it appears Nintendo & Capcom don't really care anymore... I've seen very little online advertising for it.

I'm 100% getting Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

I'm also interested in Super Mario Odyssey, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, ARMS, etc. Mainly the Switch titles.. But I may wait and list them under my Christmas wish list.

Day 1, No Questions Asked:
-Yakuza Kiwami
-Metroid: Samus Returns
-SNES Classic (if I can get one, lol)
-Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga DX
-Super Mario Odyssey
-Hollow Knight Switch (assuming it actually drops this year)
-Fire Emblem Warriors

Other games I might buy at launch if the reviews are good:
-Sonic Mania
-Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle
-Pokken Tournament DX
-FIFA 18 Switch
-Wolfenstein II
-Battlefront II

This on top of all the games I've already bought this year. 2017 is gonna go down in history next to '98 and '07. It's too much, man.

Destiny 2
SNES Mini
Undertale PS4

All of them preordered.

GTS was on the list, but I'll wait and see how it turns out. Not digging the online focus.

Cuphead. Everybody's Golf. That's probably all I'll buy this year because looking at the release calendar there's literally nothing I can see except bland, rehashed sequels. There's a demo on the PSN store for a tactical stealth ninja game, I forget what it's called but I'll probably buy that as well because it plays well and at least it offers something different.

August

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
Everybody's Golf
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

September

Destiny 2
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider
Cuphead
Star Fox 2

October

Forza Motorsport 7
Middle-earth: Shadow of War
The Evil Within 2
South Park: The Fractured but Whole
Assassin's Creed: Origins
Super Mario Odyssey
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

November

Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds
Need for Speed Payback
Star Wars Battlefront II

October is just stupid.

0 partially because of my wallet, partially because of my pc not being great and partially because a lot of the games don't interest me

If I had unlimited funds I'd be most excited for The Evil Within 2, Wolfenstein II and Divinity: Original Sin 2 (if I was confident I could run it).

Matterfall seems neat too and it's Housemarque so that's always a good sign. Battlefront 2 could be good or it could be awful so I'm remaining skeptical, and I'd be interested in the Dishonored 2 DLC if I had the base game yet. And yeah, Mario + Rabbids and Super Mario Odyssey would be great if I had a switch.

Uncharted: LL
Destiny 2

Maybe Super Mario Odyssey, but I'm not dying to play a Mario platformer like I did when I was younger. I think The Evil Within 2 is going to have the same fast price drop as #1 did in 2014 around Black Friday.

Sonic Mania (Triple Dipping: PS4, SW, PC)
Destiny 2 (digitally pre-ordered)
Super Mario Odyssey (depending on its size will determine if digital or physical purchase)

Wolfenstein 2 and Assassin's Creed Origins. However, these two games have the problem of coming out on the same day.

Because I'll be getting Wolfenstein 2 on PC and Asscreed on PS4, I'll be going day-1 on Wolfenstein. PS4 digital games are overpriced in Europe and I have to wait for a sale. Ubisoft has been doing really fast sales lately (2-4 weeks from release) so AC should be on an EU PSN sale quickly.

Mario Odyssey and Cuphead for me. I've been waiting for Cuphead and a Mario game in the sandbox style for a while now so they are day one buys for me.

I need to start working on my backlog again so hopefully I can manage to keep my purchases for the rest of the year to those two (although Destiny 2 on PC may be a good podcast game like the first one was...).

I only really buy online MP heavy games on day one but I'm not really interested in any of them this year.

Maybe Battlefront 2 if it turns out really good but I think I may even skip that this year and just try and catch up on the backlog (and continue playing Overwatch).

Probably Uncharted DLC
SW Battlefront 2

And Horizon Zero Dawn DLC if that makes it this year

Beyond 2017, it's easily God of War and Spider-Man.

I think Cuphead and South Park will have to wait a bit given the busy schedule.
