You're gonna need to define cut content because I think you're misrepresenting it. Cut content is content that was made and cut from the final version of the game. What you are describing is content that isn't there. You're conflating the two. But let's take this one at a time:
What. You're telling me that going to THE MAIN OBJECTIVE OF YOUR QUEST and being turned around from an obviously fully modeled area isn't a sign of cut content?
I am going to assume you mean Tenebrae here. Tenebrae is not the "main objective" of Noctis's quest. Don't know how you think that.
Just because the background is modeled does not mean it was ever explorable nor does it mean it was "cut" from the game. Plenty of other games have modeled backgrounds. I think you're just assuming because it was modeled that it was at some point a playable area. That is not the case.
Or the massive, massive Venice-Like city which has a grand total of;
A shop
A couple of fishing holes
An Arena.
And is exceptionally massive and is only used for 20 minutes of gameplay isn't cut content?
Again, you are conflating your sense of lack of content with "cut content". Again, just because a background is modeled does not mean it's a playable area. Additionally, you're greatly misrepresenting Altissia and what you can do there.
Or, you know, the entire World of Darkness which is remodeled, takes place years later and is very obviously missing cutscenes explaining anything
FFXV is an objectively reworked game, we know this, the developers have spoken about this, how there are massive, massive chunks of content missing.
Explaining anything you say? You had a whole car ride with Talcott explaining what happened over the course of ten years. If you'd like to be more specific in what wasn't explained then please elaborate because there are a few things that aren't explained in Chapter 14, but the hyperbole of "nothing explained" is just that: hyperbole.
