What do you want done with your remains when the time comes?

Preferably? I'd like to be immediately frozen. Maybe future science could figure out how to revive me.

Realistically? Not my problem, since I'll be dead. Maybe donate my body to science.

Cremation. I don't care what is done with my remains. Scatter them somewhere in nature I guess. No sad funeral, just a family gathering to enjoy each others company.

A friend of mine wants his entire extended family to be at the wake. When the family is in the midst of mourning, that's when the doors are barricaded and the cement mixers roll in. Slowly the family realizes they aren't in a funeral home but instead they're being entombed in a mausoleum. His name is carved in the cement days later and his line is ended.

Coffin burial in a regular ol' cemetery

but if my family looks at the bill, laughs and just dumps my body into the ocean instead it's not like I can do anything about it

Well from the point I die I'll no longer be here, so the idea of wanting something specific to be done with my body afterwards doesn't do anything for me.

I won't be here anymore so I don't care.

I could care less. But I suppose some kind of processing into feed for animals might be the most efficient, or some kind of composting.

I would like my body to be blasted off into space but I will probably opt for cremation to save my family the hassle of buying a coffin and burial plot.

Though it probably won't matters as I will be dead so they can do whatever they want.

I like the idea of being buried - I may be dead but MY SKELETON LIVES ON!

Preferably? I'd like to be immediately frozen. Maybe future science could figure out how to revive me.

After brain death or before? The 14 year old girly dying from cancer just made this a legal possibility to take.

Donate organs and then cremate the rest. Burial is a waste of money and space in my opinion. Plus I doubt anyone would want to visit my grave since I won't be having children and most of my relatives are old.

Put me in a crypt in a throne while holding a sword. If someone enters the crypt, I want a motion sensor to trigger some Dark Souls boss music and a projector to project a health bar onto the wall.

Launch my body towards Trump.
Legit laughed at this.

Put me in the fucking. No cremation, no embalming. Just right in the ground. Let the bugs eat my ass. One last hurrah.

Donate everything but my liver, we only want progress.

Cremation, ashes scattered. In fact, skip the funeral, go on a hike with those you care about, to scatter the ashes. I'd want people to have a good time while I'm gone.

I saw a thing where you're put into a biodegradable container with a mixture of soil, nutrients, and a seed. Overtime you grow into a tree. That's what I want done for myself.

I don't care, I mean I'll be dead, I can't care lol. Cremation seems like the best way. Grave burial seems antiquated and and wasteful.

I've told my parents I want to be cremated. I want it done as soon as possible and I don't want any kind of visitation at a funeral home and I don't want any obituaries posted anywhere. No one cares about me while I'm alive, so I don't want people coming out suddenly acting like they're my best friends.

Cremation.

Half pressed into a vinyl record and the other spread somewhere cool. Paris or Tokyo.

Cremation into a bio urn that turns into a tree. Cremation is the cheapest route for whomever has to pay for my death, and worst case scenario I end up experiencing the world as a tree.

Or donated to science if they'll have me.
