What exclusive game would make you buy PS4/720/WiiU instantly?

I don't think there's any single game that could get me to buy a 720 or PS4 immediately for it. Conversation is irrelevant for Wii U as I have one already.

If anything, it might be a next-gen P* game, or a high quality new JRPG such as Bravely Default 2. Actually, The Last Guardian might do it for me on PS4, come to think of it. I'm starting to wonder whether that game is really coming together well, though. At this point, with all the drama surrounding Ueda, it could easily be a disaster.
 
This might sound weird but a new viva pinata would be fantastic. Really interested to see what these new ms studios are doing and I'm sure SCE has things up their sleeves. If the big shooter on playsation continues to be killzone I will be pretty dissapointed because those games are not good. Next gen uncharted will be nice but I would like the playstation to give some stand out rpgs that are not final fantasy because thoseare getting worse every time. Lost odyssey would be nice but sakaguchi is too busy taking pictures and I think he probably just develop on the wii u. Hell it might be time to buy a wii U.
 
A single game would not get me to buy a console

Consoles are expensive enough to get a prime living position to have cause for pause before purchase.

Supplier rep, prior experience are and reviews/marketing are larger factors.
 
PS4: Uncharted 4, Killzone 4. new FPS IP.
WiiU: Mario Kart, new FPS sequel or IP, Xenoblade
Xbox: Alan Wake 2, some Star Wars Game, ANY SW game!
 
Definitely Battlefield 4 for me. My favourite online title this gen. Just really hope that they nail the 64 players online with solid frame rate and smooth gameplay.

Witcher 3

Or any game from Platinum Games or Soul series from FromSoftware .
 
I don't care how expensive PS4 is, if Sony brings me a new PaRappa the Rapper, Ape Escape, Jumping Flash, or Medievil it is an instant purchase.

All the old talent at Rare has left. Even if there is another Banjo game, it just won't be the same. :(

Or it'll be BETTER WITH KINECT
 
A new Star Control game would be cool too... just not that crap they were trying in the canceled Star Control 4.
 
For me hmm... for the next X box a new Perfect Dark or Gunvalkyrie, I loved both of them.

for PS4, give me another Legend of the Dragoon.

And for Nintendo, well i have it already.
 
PGR5, just like PGR3 was. Kinda scared of doing so though depending on the new policies the 720 brings with it.
 
Metal Gear?

I don't know. All the HUGE names from the PS2 days lost their lustre and no new IP from this past gen are really must have system sellers on their own for me. Metal Gear is still the only franchise that even comes close to making a console purchase decision. Final Fantasy used to be on that list, but X looks better than anything Square's Japanese division has released since FF XII. Square just aren't the end all for jrpgs they used to be.
 
Impossible to say but there's almost always one though for me. I'd go nuts if they announced KOTOR 3 and FF15 for near launch releases on either new system.

PSV: Launch, Katamari and PSP games

Wii U: Pikmin 3 when it comes out (first Nintendo system since the N64 I didn't get on launch day.. includes handhelds)
X720: ?
PS4: ?
 
Bought my PS3 to continue on the Final Fantasy series, then it went multi-plat.. Still glad I made the decision to have PS3 as my lead platform, I've never run out of fun...
 
WiiU: Super Mario RPG 2. Mario & Luigi series isn't as nearly as good for me; the older Paper Marios are good but still not at the level of Square and Nintendo's masterpiece. I'd obviously wait to try this or read extensively about it after it was released first.

Earthbound/Mother collection + new Earthbound/Mother would do it too.

PS4: Maybe Watch Dogs, if for some crazy reason it was an exclusive, and really exceptionally great.

Xbox 720: Money Printer, the game that prints legal, legitimate USD currency!
Or some game I desperately want that also includes a lifetime sub to Xbox Live Gold.
 
PS4 = Killzone 4 or Uncharted 4
Xbox 720 = Halo 5
Wii U = 3D Mario, Mario Kart, SSBU, and maybe a Zelda / Metroid game all released before I'll consider it.
 
PS4 = Any of their large 1st party titles or interesting new IP for launch
720 = See above
WiiU = Pricepoint of $199 for Deluxe w/ NSMBU + Nintendo Land
 
While I never buy a system for just 1 game there are games that tip the scale for me.

I think F-zero on the Wii U with a at least a 10 player online mode and all the other single player features of GX would probably be the game that pushed me into a Wii U Purchase.

As for the 720, right now nothing is screaming out to me, but I am waiting to see what these new IPs MS has are.

I suspect my PS4 purchase won't come till late in the generation again... but perhaps a new non digital based Wipeout title.

Any other exclusive that's going to sell me on a console is something we don't know about.
 
I am getting both either way but if i was getting one maybe a Deus Ex exclusive or a Red Dead Redemption 2 exclusive.

already have WII U but if they said earthbound 4 people would go nuts.
 
When X comes out, I'm buying a WiiU (provided that reviews aren't complete and total shit). I hope by that time Nintendo has dropped the price.
 
One of the main reasons I bought a Wii U was because it finally means I can get Pikmin 3.

And for PS4, a launch inFAMOUS 3 would really get me considering buying one.

But of course, it would depend on how good the game seemed, and if there were any other games coming out in the launch window I would want too.
