What games do you personally kick ass at playing?

i'm pretty good at double dribble, blades of steel, and any tecmo bowl. i have hundreds of hours on each of them playing with friends. as for modern games, i suck at most of them but have loads of fun.

I'm not great but I'm consistently finishing TitanFall 2 Attrition games at the top of the board.

I was getting pretty good at Hearthstone a couple of years ago. If I had put more time into it I could have made Legend.

Oh and I'm pretty good at driving sims. If we're racing at Laguna Seca or Road Atlanta I'm gonna be in there.

Multiplayer wise, TF2/Overwatch. I'd say I'm better than most players.

Besides that 2D platformers. If I practiced I could probably get close to speed run records for SMW/SMB3 among others

DDR. Like, shockingly so. I was on the news once in AZ after I won a local tournament.

Sadly, there aren't many arcades in NYC to play at aside from Dave & Busters and that's all messed up from people spilling drinks on it and wearing the wrong kind of shoes. Ah well.

I'm probably rusty now, but as recently as a year ago I could 10% B-rank 60% A-rank 30% S-rank Metal Gear Rising on Very Hard and Revengeance. Never before or since have gotten so singularly obsessed with getting good at a single game. I especially never thought I'd do that in my adult life where I have two careers.

Once upon a time I kicked ass at Soul Calibur 2 and 3. But I only had my friend circle to really test that out on, since I drifted from the franchise by the PS360 gen.

I put up 83 kills in a match of Gears 4 the other day on PC during the crossplay playlist. Never seen a score like that. They thought I was cheating lol. It just feels so good with a mouse haha

Geometry Wars. Specifically 3, I had top 10 scores for a bunch of levels on PS4. I also put in some pretty sick scores for Assault Android Cactus on PS4.

I'm pretty great at twin-stick shooters, in general.

Also Guitar Hero/Rock Band.

I was a decent Rock Band drummer, playing the vast majority of songs ( 95% + ) at Expert, 100%ing and gold starring many of them, until I got a flat screen.
Now the input lag drives me insane and I can't play it anymore.

I'm average at literally everything else. I beat games on Normal, don't try the crazy challenge stuff, etc. I have 3 kids, I don't have time to replay something over and over.

RL is in a weird place of classic learning curve, except with the insane spin that 99.9% of players are still on the learning curve- even in purples, people commonly mess up x or y- people never aerial super high or know how to block them. There are some exceptions, but by and large they're missing something.

Hence, learning>>rank

I've completed all the souls games at ng+7 or equivalent but for me personally, it's still probably Ninja Gaiden Black. Big fan of other character action games like DMC and bayonetta but ninja gaiden is dear to my heart, personally, due to it being the only OG xbox game I actually owned (borrowed a lot of games from cousins and friends). Completed master ninja mode multiple times and eternal legend mission mode in order to unlock all the costumes and it even got to the point where I was doing challenges runs using only the level 1 wooden sword.

This was all mid 2000's of course and I'm probably considerably worse now than back then. Making my way slowly through mission mode again on the 360 digital version. Will probably take at least a couple of years though as I only do one mission a month and I'm in no rush to complete it yet.

Usually shooters. I managed to get top 1% on KZ2 online back when the servers were packed and also beat Radec on Elite.

Really good at battlefield but I haven't played in 4 months so I'm rusty. Favorite thing to do was use SUAV and use a short range scope on a bolt action and just run around.

I was also really good at flying planes in Warhawk and Starhawk.

I was top 200 as a barbarian in Diablo 3 season play.
Lapped a few #1 times with Driveclub.
I also feel I do a good job at Soulsborne games but I just can't wrap my head around the level of skill of some speedrunners.

Adventure Island. Super Mario Bros. I think that's about it; for all the games I play... I'm more of a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none type.

Oh I get to post this again

I made it to as high as 5th place on the leaderboards for Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, maining Viewtiful Joe for the latter 90% of my time. I restarted my account at 8th place I think. I've played people better than me and never got to attend a tourney, but considering it was a fighting game on the Wii, most people weren't playing it to the fullest (or playing it at all really lol). My channel's full of videos of that game; this is probably my best set.

This is me. I wanna play so many games I normally just move on to the next after finishing one and never really allow myself to get great at any game.

Virtua Cop 2...I guess? Back then I was playing it on a PC via CD-ROM...there really was no telling if I was any good compared to other players out there...guess you're gonna have to take my word for it. haha.

WWE All stars

the game playerbase was very low even on release but i love it so much, greatest wrestling game ever

everyone knew me in the game, when i play 2vs2 they refuse to play against me and try to get on my team

everytime i play 4 elimination, the match turns 3vs1 against me and i still win

i felt like i dominated the whole player base of the game

i wish if they would make a sequel to this underrated masterpiece

CoD: Modern Warfare 2 Search & Destroy. I used to play nothing but that and during that time I easily knew all the maps and where people would be/go.

No MP game has ever grabbed me like that one did. The amount of time and dedication I put into that game is pretty insane thinking back to it.

Any multiplayer that involves a "Tetris" similarity or basis, I can kick ass in. Too many hours spent in Tetris paid off with me being a master at things like Tricky Towers. Probably the only game on the planet where I have to consider "going easy" on people playing with me.

Gears 2. I was a monster at that game. Pretty decent in 3 but I just didn't spend as much time in it compared to 2.

Tekken. I'm above average in the games. Not amazing however but damn good.

GTA:SA. I was dope in it.

I think the area I excell in is team healer. This is based purely on Resistance 2 co-op missions and Bad Company 2, but in both I would consistently top scoreboards in games because I'm pretty damn good at being there for people.

I miss Resistance 2 co-op. That's my kind of multiplayer.

I'm really good at healing in WoW/MMOs. I've been playing healers in MMOs for almost 15 years and I feel like I've developed an instinct for it. I pull groups through shit they have no business surviving.

I can do most Expert Vocals in RB.

Not doing tricks, not humming, not with a great voice, I just know how to pull that shit off most of the time.

I was pretty high on the leaderboards in Pacman CE DX

Beating Downwell and Spelunky are trivial for me.

can't think of anything else.

Oh, a thread where I can get away with bragging. Nice.

Perfect Dark. Every group of friends had that one friend that kicked everyone's ass and thought they were amazing because of it. I would kick the asskickers asses. I humbled a lot of people.

Crash Bandicoot. I can 100% it in one sitting and without losing any lives.

Also randomly quite good at the time trial thing at the start of CoD4. I'm sat at about #1000 out of 1.5m worldwide for my time in the remaster.

I'm above average in Gears games, MK9 and Destiny
(friends say I'm really good, but my stats doesn't support it, however, I really just play for fun, and also don1t care about K/D in objective game types)

You probably can't beat me in MK II SNES tough.
