What games would you like to see remastered?

Out the top of my head:

Ocarina of Time
Super Mario 64
Majora's Mask
Super Metroid
Banjo-Kazooie
Banjo-Tooie
Deus Ex

And with HD I mean largely starting from scratch, 1080/60 and yadda yadda. Of course, improving the AI and such is obligatory as well.
 
Does anybody feel like backwards compatibility has been intentionally neglected in order to make these remasters justifiable purchases? If all my xbox 360 games were backwards compatible i couldn't realistically justify a remastered version...even if it did have all the bells and whistles (1080p and 60fbs)
 
I want nothing more than Final Fantasy XII HD to be made for PS3/PS4 but also get a release on Vita.

I would like to see Dragon's Crown make it's way to PS4 and Steam, too, so that it can have an online community that lives on.
 
FFXII. Something beyond just new textures would make this game great. A bit of a clean up of the fighting system. A few tweaks to towns and areas .

Okami. The HD version for the PS3 is still great. But it also carried over the janky elements from the PS2 version. It is one of the few Games I would actually like to see remastered for the Wii U as the tabled just seems to beg for such drawing controls effectively removing one of the games biggest mehs. The pause when ever your draw. Probably unlikely as platinum games won't get the license form Capcom and Capcom seems to just sit on the IP .

The KH .5 collections. 2.5 in particular has some terrible terrible load issues. With Drives or D-Links taking up to 10 secs to load when you use them for the first time. That's my main issue with it. I guess a "port" to a newer gen or PC would be good enough. The later is unrealistic do to copyright issues.

Prince of Persia : The sand of time ( or the trilogy) . It is about time. The first game didn't age well at all. And we practically went with out a game in the franchise for close to 10 years now ( PoP:2008 was a nice attempt but they just didn't have the heart for a proper reboot and forgotten sands... yeah let's not talk about that). So much could be done. You would think in an time where action games are high in demand and the Uncharted games sell well they would go for that. But I guess Ubisoft is busy killing the next franchise.

Maniac Masion. Why didn't this happen yet?

The Witcher. The first game is just such a weird mess. It being remade in the style of two ( or three) would be wonderful.

Dungeon Keeper ....*sigh* good thing we have Kickstarter

Warcraft 3. I wouldn't mind a new one either.

Have you played Dark Souls on consoles or PC (with the obligatory DSfix)? I recently played through it on PC and it looked nice. Much nicer than I remember it when I played it on the PS3 a year or two back.

But yeah, Demon's looks kinda rough nowadays. I'm replaying it now as we speak, and I needed some time getting used to it after getting used to the mods on PC. Though I prefer Dark in pretty much every way, so I personally wouldn't lose any sleep without a Demon's remaster.
 
Diablo I & II HD collection
Shining Force I, II, III HD collection (will never happen)
Guild Wars 1 and 2 collection (PS4)
Final Fantasy VII (lol)
 
Demon's Souls, Dark Souls and Dragon's Dogma.

A bump in framerate would significantly improve them. Can't say I really care for remasters that are just a 720->1080 bump.

I'd also love a definitive Persona 3. Take elements from FES and Portable, add the fusing mechanics from 4 Golden, put it in HD and we've got a near perfect game. Won't happen though.
 
Mass Effect and Gears of War trilogies. The first so I can finally do a comfy couch playthrough and the latter so I can get rid of my 360.
 
Every exclusive Sega game on the original Xbox, Panzer Dragoon Orta especially. I don't like them being trapped on the one platform from that gen that still hasn't been emulated. I'm not really interested in any last gen remasters.

Most other things I'd want would need more work then a simple remaster as they are on the Saturn or PS1.
 
Red Dead Redemption is at the top of the list for me. Can we start a petition or something?

I'd also pick up an Uncharted trilogy.

No. There are vast differences in CPU tech and GPU tech. And there are reasons to switch to the current off the shelf tech and dump the old custom tech. However if they stick to the same off the shelf tech for next gen we are golden for BC.
 
Uncharted 1-2-3. Maximo 1 and 2. All the Syphon Filter games (HD, 60fps + fixed texture warping is all I really need for the PS1 games, though remakes would be appreciated)

Atleast with the Cell, it was a dead technology and non starter. There's literally zero chance it would have made it into the PS4's design considering what they were going for was the complete antithesis to cell.

With both consoles in general though, moving to x86 meant restarting from the beginning
 
Dragon's Dogma
Mass Effect trillogy
Dragon age 1&2.

Those are all games that suffered from the lack of streinght of their platform.

Also Arkham Origins with the Dlc on disk so i can finally play the bloody thing!
 
Crysis.

I purchased it when Crysis: Low Settings Edition came out. When I upgraded my system to Q6600/4GB system, I was surprised to find out they had released a Crysis: Medium Settings Edition. I mean, the game looked good, but how much better could it look? Well, damn! I purchased Crysis: Medium Settings Edition and WOW! Crytek managed to top themselves. It was to my surprise when I purchased the HD5980 they came out with Crysis: High Settings Edition. Day One. I purchased it and hot damn, this game looks amazing. Imagine the look on my face when I purchased the Geforce 770 they were remastering it again! Day one, I picked it up and my eye balls began bleeding tears of amazement. A few years go by and guess what? They released a Crysis: Ultra Settings Edition? I sold my girlfriend and it, day one. And oh, my god. My eyes can't stop crying. Guess fucking what? I purchased the Geforce 970 and Crysis: Ultra Editon came out!

I plan on purchasing a Radeon 390X and I'm really happy about the rumors about a possible Crysis: 4K Edition. Day one $60 purchase if it's true. Can't wait!

Maybe one day, I can get an even better card and buy an 8K version of Crysis.
 
I cast my ballot for the ever-despised Final Fantasy XIII trilogy. I had fun with it, love to see it put together in a nice collection.
 
Are there any evidence or rumors suggesting Mass Effect remastered? I would really want to play all three. I have only played 2nd one.
 
Windwaker, now before you point out to Windwaker HD hear me out first.

Windwaker HD is a terrible remaster as it only even more highlight the fact that the original game is unfinished, furthermore it doesn't do anything to fix that problem and yes I am aware that those cut dungeon got used in other Zelda game but that is a cop out answer.

They should have given the game a full scale remake that it deserve as I honestly find it hard why I should play Windwaker HD over the original.
