What if gameboy classic also includes gba games?

I don't see Nintendo breaking the pattern. The respective libraries have too much good stuff, and it would have to be modeled after the GBA due to needing shoulder buttons. That, or they'd have to add shoulder buttons to a GB/GBC chassis and that's just messy.

they're not localizing a ROM.
yeah I'm sure they'll localize the RAM instead

Tetris
Alleyway
Dr. Mario
Mario's Picross
Link's Awakening DX
Oracle of Ages/Seasons
Metroid II
Pokemon Yellow
Pokemon Crystal
Super Mario Land
Mario Golf
Mario Tennis
Kirby's Dreamland
Wario Land 2 / 3

What am I missing? Hell, some of these are already stretches tbh. I mean I guess you could throw a bunch of alternate versions and sequels on there (which they've avoided with the previous Classic systems), but I'm really struggling to see 20 'great' games you could put on this thing.
This list is maddening in how many classic Nintendo titles it is missing.

Donkey Kong 94, Kirby's Pinball Land, Kirby's Dreamland 2, Wario Land 1, Kid Icarus II, Super Mario Land 2, Pokemon TCG, & Mole Madness are 100% worthy of this. And better than many games on the NES and SNES Classic.

You know one of the Final Fantasy titles (likely Adventure), one of the Mega Man titles, one of the Castlevania games & one of the Donkey Kong Land's would also make it in.

Also they haven't avoided sequels. NES Classic has Zelda 1 & 2, Mario 1-3. SNES Classic had Mario World 1 & 2.

...what? This entire time I'd assumed GBC meant Game Boy Color.

Oh, it does!, I was saying there's plenty of Color exclusives as other people are pointing out.

Link's Awakening DX is technically B&W compatible, but there's the Oracle games which aren't. Obviously if they made an original GB classic it would have the original Zelda on it.

They will sell you a GBA classic in 1 year and you will like it.
They can milk their fanbase like that for quite some time and then they will release VC on Switch.
