Fluted armor from Demons Souls strikes a perfect balance between an interesting high fantasy design and a functional looking armor set that could actually exist in real life.

Runner up would be the Artorias armor because damn it looks badass.

Ciaran's set in Dark Souls and the Llewellyn set in Dark Souls 2 are my favorites.

Silver Knight Set is cool. Though I like to wear the elite knight helm with the rest of the armor.

Smelter Demon set from Dark Souls II. Not only did the fight against him make me want to pull my hair out, but the gear is ridiculously ugly. As an even bigger insult, it actually has great stats and I wore it most of the damn game.

Who wouldn't want to wear a butthole helmet! XD

I feel exactly the same about the generic knight armors, that Souls offer in an abundance. Some of the more unique ones on this thread don't look that bad though.

Replace the knight set's hat with the Hunter hat and you look like a pirate. I love it.

This. 95% of the time when I see someone on a souls game they are wearing no armor (maybe because I watch a lot of speed runners?). Maybe because most bosses can one shot you anyway and you move so much faster without it.

Either way I spent most of my time in dark souls/2 playing fashion souls- would think up a build, implement it in game, then completely lose interest in playing.
