What is the best looking Souls series armor?

Also really dig the Alva set from DS2.

Beautiful. Think I'm gonna do a new character just to wear it.

Yup.

I would have chosen the Silver Knights set from Dark Souls but the lack of cape physics makes it look kinda lame, especially compared to the Silver Knight enemies who have glorious cape physics. So I'll pick the Dark Silver set from Demons instead.

Nothing can beat the armor of Lord's Blade Ciaran and Artorias the Abysswalker.

I like the Brass Set, too. I'm fond of these really neat mods.

Since everyone's mentioned the Crowfeather and Cainhurst sets, I'd like to voice my appreciation for the Choir and Knight sets.

So floofy.

it's still the regular knight armor

i will admit though, alva's armor is a very close second best.
it's the true successor to the elite knight armor in style/design in that it's a traditional knight armor with a flourish to it. but the thing that puts it over the elite knight armor is that it's incredibly worn and patched up- you can tell that this armor belonged to someone who had been through some serious shit and had to replace several parts of it or re-use parts of it. elite knight armor has this sense of royalty to it with it's colors and how pristine it is while alva's armor tells more of a long journey (which is more fitting for dark souls)

Out of all the "standard knight" outfits in the series (which include fluted, knight, elite knight, Faraam etc.), I think Alva's is the best-looking by far. It should have been the default/cover look instead of the Faraam set, IMO.

I don't think there's been any mention of Creighton's Set in this thread yet. Easily my favorite behind Elite Knight. Reminds me heavily of the standard Knights Hospitaller dress, or 11th-13th century European armor design in general.

It's fantastic for retexture mods, too.

I mentioned it! It's one of my favourites too:

I think the Insolent armour doesn't get enough appreciation either. Looks like a cool templar/paladin-style armour (apologies for low res/blurry screenshot, taken on a PS3 with my friend's capture card and binoculars):
