I would sell Bronsonlee's soul for a Singer Xorn.
That would actually be pretty cool, but I don't think his soul can get us that much.
It would be cool since Magneto is one of the few things the movies have nailed (mostly).

Ultron wasn't very good. But, holy shit, it was a billion times better than the complete piece of shit that Apocalypse was, and I fucking love X-Men.
The hate of FOX is strong in this thread.
Y'all going to act like The Avengers: Age of Ultron was better than X-Men: Apocalypse.
Nonsense.
depends on his backstory.what is taskmaster? i really hope he comes back if there is a new mvc game.
People have been paranoid about this for years now but the biggest, best crossover in recent history ended up being as FF centric as it could be.
The push to make the Inhumans a bigger deal is likely MCU driven, but I don't buy the inverse, that they would try to kill off the xmen in spite over movie rights.
Marvel Studios is an increasingly large portion of the Marvel brand, and it thus makes financial sense for Marvel to emphasize the properties it can leverage in its films within cross-promotional ventures like video games.
Secret Wars was a nice ending to FF too in a way.I mean this all sounds reasonable and stuff but I think I'm gonna go with Marvel wanting to destroy the X-men in all things.
this only makes even stupider that Capcom didn't buy indefinite rights to Marvel characters. They were making the first marvel fighting games around the same time Fox and Sony were pulling a fast one on Marvel!

Avengers 2 Rotten Tomatoes 75%
X-men: Apocalypse Rotten Tomatoes 48%
You can prefer Apocalypse to Ultron, but to say it's nonsense to have the opposing opinion is a bridge too far.
By every metric, Fox's X-men movies have underperformed Marvel's films.

Well I enjoyed Cyclops and other things, we going to pretend the X-men haven't been spinning their wheels since The Twelves? Between that and New Avengers reviving the avengers brand it hasn't been a good 20 years for x-men.

I mean that's the real problem with the X-books right? No one has had any good ideas for a long term direction for the X-men in good while. We keep getting these mediocre writers because either no one else wants to do it, or if they do, they know they don't have anything better to offer so why bother?

Better than getting great writers with shit ideas like Superman has a habit of doing.
I would say they did a great job with the Black Ops X-Force( with Wolverine leading the team) was one of the few things that made those characters interesting.Fuck I'd say the X-Men haven't been bonafide amazing since OG Claremont era.
Outside of some of the stuff they did with Cyke and maybe Magneto.
Also, this deal thing was responsible for one of my favorite jokes of a recent comic

Fucking Orson Scott Card, repugnant a human being as he is, couldn't cut a good Superman story and that's a legitimate fucking writer not a dude that makes a living writing picture books for grown ass adults.
Uh... but it was?
AOU was flawed at best but every fox Marvel movie save for Deadpool has been trash. And Deadpool is only good because it separates itself from the rest of that shitty "cinematic universe" and was made in isolation.
I love man but let me top that.
J. Michael Straczynski the man that created Jayce and The Wheel Warriors is responsible for one of the most boring and trite superman arcs ever
JMS:" Lets have Superman walk across the country and tell people to be better."
I hated DoFP so much...X2 and Days of Future Past were trash?
Come the fuck on.
I'd take those two over any MCU movie aside from Iron Man 3.

I had legit forgotten that entire run it was so fucking dull. And I have literally every single thing JMS has ever written.
Why is it so damn hard to write a dude in his underwear that punches aliens?
I still think the conceit of the X-Men and mutants is much more interesting than Cap and Iron Man and friends.
Unfortunately, Fox has rarely hit the high notes with the franchise.
The Avengers are boring and one note. Feign does a decent job with the franchise, but they're a snoozefest thematically.
Secret Wars was a nice ending to FF too in a way.
Because aside from a few parts of the first couple movies and First Class, every single thing that made the X-Men unique in the first place has never even really been discussed. They might as well be using Wildstorm characters, because there is nothing about the cinematic X-Men that makes them distinct from the Avengers other then their powersets.
They probably just want to prioritize the IPs that make them the most money (I.E. anything in the MCU). Saying they want to destroy the XMen brand, so that they can get it back (destroyed), makes no sense.
Just read the through the Polygon report that said the X-Men are going to be gone from Marvel vs. Capcom. MvC without Magneto or Wolverine seems like insanity to me.
I feel like ever since the MCU started Disney has been doing everything in their power to shit on X-Men fans.
How does Disney benefit from hurting the X-Men brand?
so does this mean that there won't be any Xmen games, xmen merch etc?
also how does disney/marvel profit from the new Spiderman movie? i mean Marvel is making it BUT sony is still the distributing the movie and gaining all ticket profit.....
They've been doing their best to actively destroy the X-Men in the comics.

Just gimme this one time and I'll see it in theaters like 10 times.
Yeah the whole Marvel/Fox thing reeks of a couple of squillionaire kids fighting over their toys. In fact, thats almost exactly what it is.
Marvel is not trying to handicap the X-Men.
They just see no reason to push stuff they can't make money on in multiple markets.
Interesting that Fox help built this genre but is 3rd in a 3 horse race. And have the lowest bar. All they had to do was have the 90s x-men on screen and folks would eat it by the shovel full
