Maybe the Konami code?
Oh, yeah, good choice.Konami code
There's a buttload of stock sounds that appear in a ton of games, shows and movies. This is a personal favourite.
Uh .... you okay, spaceman? It's a metaphor for depression
I thought about this but I've only heard it in 1 game myselfAlso the Wilhelm Scream.
This came to mind first for me, but I think it's limited to Imsim-related games only
This, I was searching through the thread and could hardly believe it took this long for someone to mention it.I would say the red barrel.
If you put a barrel in game and it is red, it must explodes.
Not only in games. I’ve also heard the Imp fireball sound in so many movies.Doom door sound is in SO many games
I think I heard it in For Honor? Maybe WoW too I’m not sure.I thought about this but I've only heard it in 1 game myself
And never on any of those '10 easter eggs in x game' videos
Many of the Doom sound effects were from like a common sound library or public domain IIRC, which is why they’re everywhere.Doom door. I hear it in TV/movies as well.
A cutscene where a giant monster appears, it pauses, the camera zooms in close, and then the monster lets out a loud roar.
It’s in nearly every game with monsters or beasts.
Yeah I was just reading about that. I love when I catch one of these iconic sound effects in a movie, TV show, video game or otherwise. I don't know why but I think it's so cool. Many of the Doom sound effects were from like a common sound library or public domain IIRC, which is why they’re everywhere.
I have and it definitely does lol.Let's hope you never play one of the Monster Hunter games. Roars galore.
I was trying to think of one, it wasn't coming to me, then you got it. The reason it came to me is because I've heard it god knows how many times across all sorts of media.Doom door. I hear it in TV/movies as well.
Yeah I kept a copy of the police chatter .wav from GTA (1997) for use in any films or videos requiring police chatter. The format of 'police scanner chatter' is so common, I never really pay attention to the codes they call out.
I wouldn't be able to pick this one out aand I'm surprised you were able to pick a favourite
The most annoying and despertly in need of a replacement cliches I know.A cutscene where a giant monster appears, it pauses, the camera zooms in close, and then the monster lets out a loud roar.
It’s in nearly every game with monsters or beasts.
