What is the worst Wii game of all time?

256px-GT_Pro_Series.jpg

Came with my Wii from Argos along with a plastic wheel. Tried it for a few minutes, hated the driving controls, ejected the disc with great contempt. Sold it the next week.

I got to agree with those that picked Castlevania Judgement.

Everything about the game was awful outside of the music (which was the best in the franchse sadly) and while it did get a little better with a Classic Controller it was still bad.

Thing is I was able to at least finish it and I can't say the same for Skyward Sword. I do however think that Judgement is a worse game overall then SS.

I liked Secret Rings and thought a sequel to it that improved upon it would have been great. It's worse. Fuck this shit.

I got my Wii around launch time with ExciteTruck and Rampage (I don't recall the subtitle lol) with a deep discount so they were almost free. I love ExciteTruck, but Rampage was merely so-so and it got really repetitive.

Metal Slug Anthology with motion controls or gimped Wiimote controls was bad if you couldn't get used to them. At least the VC games let you use the Classic Controller.

Probably Big Beach Sports

I've probably played well over a hundred Wii games but I can't think of annything that annoyed me as much as this one. I should probably check out the Ninjabread man or some TVshow game like the one in the OP to learn about the real low-end of the Wii library :-)

Call of Duty 3.

Played about 10 minutes of that shitfest. Awful. I think my mother in law got it for me on a whim as a Christmas gift years ago. She meant well!

Sonic and the Secret Rings. Worst Wii game I've played, hands down.

Although I hear some horrible things about Chicken Shoot:

Oh man, this game. Tommy Tallarico, and Victor Lucas ripped it apart on an episode of Reviews On The Run (aka Jugment Day for you Americans) bwahaha.

My wife's aunt found out my son liked Wii games so she sent him Chicken Shoot for Christmas.

It's a game where you shoot chickens. My son just turned five and he's never liked it. I would go so far as to say it's not just the worst Wii game I've ever played, it's the worst game that I've personally ever owned. Period.

Edit: just noticed some people have already posted Chicken Shoot. Awesome. It really is that bad.

For some reason I decided to rent this game at some point. I think I played it for barely 5 minutes.

Another horrible game that I actually bought due to the GAF semi-hype and then forced myself to finish:

It was still a waste of money.

ARE YOU FREAKIN KIDDING ME???

I COULDNT FINISH THE GAME BECAUSE OF THE CONTROLS DUDE!!!

I had to get used to holding the Wii mote a certain way, took a while but once I got used to it , it was ok, not the most responsive. but not the worst wii game by far.

My worst was alone in the dark Wii, I bought it for like ÂŁ5 it was a broken peace of rubbish.

In retrospect, Eduardo the Samurai Toaster is probably the worst game I've played on Wii.

Here's what I said about it when it came out:
I disliked it.

The art is gorgeous, particularly in the back half of the game. The sound is great. The main menu / hub world is awesome. I liked the dynamic camera system.

... but it's not a good game. The level design is basically a flat 2d corridor until after the 2nd side-scrolling shmup level. Level 13 is about ten times longer than any other level. Other than the lava section, there's no point in the game that platforming really matters. The rideable Segway (I can't believe I spoilertagged that) is neat, but it just serves to show how useless the first 2/3rds of the game is. Where are the neat tricks in the first 2/3rds of the game? Instead I spent 1+ hour walking left to right and jamming on the fire button.

The lack of enemy variety is annoying--especially in level 13, where the "boss" segments just consist of the dozens of copies of the same "bosses" you fought before. The ending is stupid abrupt.

The game is very short (1.5-2 hours); sure, it's intended to be replayable but very few of the stages are at all interesting so I can't see myself replaying anything but 9-13. I played through on easy and then replayed a few stages on medium.

I don't feel as though there's much in the way of strategy or skill involved in the game. It's just a war of attrition between you and gazillions of enemies and typically the "boss" sections in particular get annoying. For example, in a few of the 2 or 3 tier boss sections, I'd kill the bosses, stand on the top platform, and then have to fire spread ammo downwards for 15-20 seconds to wipe out the random tiny enemies on the bottom platforms... or jump down and melee them. That's not skill, it's drudgery.

At the time I was a little more generous to it than I feel like I would be now.

I recall escape from bug island getting a lot of bad press.

I didn't play much bad Wii games but Sonic & The Secret Rings was really fucking annoying.

I've played this, it was terrible.

Ninjabread Man and its carbon copies.

I've played this, it was terrible.

Flip's Twisted World.

I've played this, it was terrible.

Everything made or published by ZOO.

Actually Order Up! is quite good.

I've played this, it was terrible.

Out of the games I played.....Red Steel for sure.

I still remember the guy in the store telling me it was like being in a Tarantino movie.

I've played this, it was terrible.

MySims is far, far away from being the worst game on the Wii (atrocious load times aside). And the Kingdoms/Agents sequels are actually pretty decent. The wife still nags me that EA don't seem to want to make a new one.

MySims is pretty enjoyable, a really neat take on the formula. Only downside is how it shreds the shit out of your DVD drive. Made my Wii louder than my 360.

I didn't like this, but it wasn't as bad as some other stuff. It was hideous, movement was slow, but just the engaging and original theme was enough to give it some cache.
