What kind of mouse pad do you use?

Looks fancy. What's the gimmick?

just that it glows any colour or rainbow around the edges. Looks great though.

Was curious if someone had this. It's definitely...something.

Do you like it? Do you have other Chroma products that it syncs with?

The main problem I have with it is that it adds an unnecessary wire and USB connection into the mix.

Oh yeah I love mine I will say it's a litte overpriced like all Razer products but it's just really nice

and yeah I have a chroma mouse and keyboard too all on rainbow wave it's a rainbow party!

the Steelseries QCK+ are great mouse pads.

if you can find the black ops 2 etc ones you get a really good pad for cheap.

I think i got 3 for 5$ CDN each because it had blops 2 on them - and they are quite nice actually.

If you prefer a hard surface , the steelseries 9hd is quite good , but obviously quite a bit more expensive in comparison.

Got this back in 2010/11.

Just one that I bought for like $2 from one of those "design your own" websites. Maybe 10 by 8 inches or so. I don't know, it gets the job done.

No joke, I am using a copy of Kensuke's Kingdom. Didn't have a pad years ago and grabbed a book I'd never read.

3 years later its still here. Front pages are worn from where my hand rests.

I used to have a Steelseries one like the one posted, but I put something hot on it (mug or plate) and it warped so I'm done with hard mousemats. I currently have this in the large size. I was going to get XXL but it's too big for my desk/monitor and the monitor would have to partially sit on it. No deal.

I haven't used one in at least ten years. The spot where my mouse sits is worn the fuck out, though. But I don't mind, it doesn't affect the mouse.

My current favorite mouse surface is the Razer Firefly. It's a hard mat that feels great and looks quite sexy. The downside, as with many Razer products, is it's a tad expensive at $60. My Firefly review.

Steelseries QCK like a lot have mentioned in this thread, but the XXL version for full desk coverage and no keyboard up on the side of it.

I reviewed the QcK XCL and really like it. Definitely a great soft mouse pad.

Just a cheap one. I don't need it as far as the mouse movement is concerned but it makes less noise than using directly on my desk and is a little more comfortable on my palm.

I've looked at some gaming ones out of curiousity, but they're mostly huge. Not sure what the point of that is unless you're setting your mouse at its lowest DPI possible and have a 4K monitor.

Most of the gaming mouse makers offer small versions as well.

The benefit to a large pad as I see it is that you can rest your hand or arm on the mat without touching the table or desk. You can also park the mouse out of the way without it having to leave the surface.
And good mouse surfaces actually feel pleasant to touch, with people who are used to cheap pads or going without a pad probably wouldn't expect.
