My arguments were clearly stated from the very beginning but you failed at basic comprehension.I read and the bolded tells me all I need to know about your "arguments" and makes me smile.

Sure, sure. Whatever makes you FOMO better. My arguments were clearly stated from the very beginning but you failed at basic comprehension.
Plus just leaving this bonus "here":My arguments were clearly stated from the very beginning but you failed at basic comprehension.
Did you double post only to tell me this lol ?Plus just leaving this bonus "here":
"Gran Turismo 7 on PS5 requires over 110 GB of storage, typically taking 1 to 5+ hours to install depending on internet speed and disc usage. Crucial tip: For physical discs, disconnect from the internet to install from the disc (~45–60 mins) rather than downloading the whole game"
Better create a new thread for you not cry??Did you double post only to tell me this lol ?
What do you don't understand when I am telling you that I consider modern consoles PCs exactly ? I don't like these "consoles" because of all of this PC shit. They are not consoles anymore.
Have you ever put a cartridge in a MegaDrive and turned on the console ? That's a console experience.
THIS. plain and simple. oh...and lots of expnability. A PC is more than a gaming device. A gaming device cant be a PC. sure it can play PC games but, who is doing productivitry tasks on a console with a couple USB slots, no PCI slots, no thunderbolt ports etc.?I can install full fat x86 Linux and/or Windows = PC
Good point.
You reek of desperation. My point was clear. You didn't read the initial post correctly and answered in haste, now you are trying to save face. It's okay to be wrong, you will survive.Better create a new thread for you not cry??

Maybe you have some past trauma about console vs PC, but not everybody needs to classify things as consoles and PCs the way you do.
Certainly not the guy resorting to double posting and trying and save face because he failed at basic reading comprehension.Whatever makes your FOMO better.
I have both so who has a trauma??![]()
Expandability is not a "requirement" as different PCs have different levels of this. Motherboards can have different numbers of PCI, RAM slots, etc. Or none like Steam Deck and some laptops where "everything" is soldered on the MOBO.THIS. plain and simple. oh...and lots of expnability. Different numbers means that there are *numbers* and thus - expendability. Yes, it is a requirement but it can be different depending on a form factor (see laptops).Expandability is not a "requirement" as different PCs have different levels of this. Motherboards can have different numbers of PCI, RAM slots, etc.
Nope. Not a "PC", precisely cause you're locked in on it h/w wise.Or none like Steam Deck
Yes a PC, just like laptops where the also the only upgrade "possible" is the HDD/SSD. And "possible" because stuff like this:Nope. Not a "PC", precisely cause you're locked in on it h/w wise.
No, it's not the only upgrade possible on a laptop. RAM can be upgraded there, you can have an external GPU via TB, and you can connect an external monitor essentially turning the laptop into a computer case.Yes a PC, just like laptops where the only upgrade "possible" is the HDD/SSD.
Like I said before, there are laptops with RAM soldered on the motherboard. And you can connect external monitor on Deck in the USB-C.No, it's not the only upgrade possible on a laptop. RAM can be upgraded there, you can have an external GPU via TB, and you can connect an external monitor essentially turning the laptop into a computer case.
But yes, laptops are limited, and are thus also frowned upon by people who like PCs.
There are many things which are not PCs, correct.Like I said before, there are laptops with RAM soldered on the motherboard. And you can connect external monitor on Deck in the USB-C.
So a laptop with only HDD/SSD upgradable running Windows and/or Linux is not a PC too. Noted. There are many things which are not PCs, correct.
If you can install Linux on it
Definitely a PC
Well, Macs can be pretty "closed".Yeah, whether its a closed enviroment or not. If i can format it, install whatever OS i want while still making full use of the hardware, its a pc.
Which is why we specifically call them macs.Well, Macs can be pretty "closed".
Like I said before, there are laptops with RAM soldered on the motherboard. And you can connect external monitor on Deck in the USB-C.
We got the Playstation PC before the Xbox one, jokes of course.

PS5 Linux loader goes public, turning ‘Phat’ consoles into full Linux PCs — build script includes bootable Ubuntu 24.04 image, can output 4K games at 60 FPS
TheFlow's project comes with an Ubuntu image builder and GPU boost controls.www.tomshardware.com
Damn, shouldnt have sold my day one PS5. That would have been fun to tinker with.
PS5 is officially a PC. haha
-Not what? I said the same thing.Wait, why not? I've used the Deck via USB-C just fine. Per google:
"Yes, the Steam Deck fully supports DisplayPort Alt Mode (DP 1.4) via its USB-C port"
Also, saying laptops are not PCs is a crazy take.
Less how?? It runs all Win 95 programs and much more. And a Windows 12 computer is less of a PC than a Windows 95 computer.
You can't watch porn on phones, consoles that have browser/homebrews, Macs, tablets??The only real difference between a pc and everything else, is that you can watch porn on a pc.
In that sense, the old vhs tapes you found under your parents bed at 12 yo were indeed a PC.
Then those are pc.-Not what? I said the same thing.
-I said the oposite.
Less how?? It runs all Win 95 programs and much more.

Are the arcade machines from the 90s that different? They were just PCs running Windows with quarter slots and joysticks, but I don't think most people thought of them as PCs.
Simple, i have a false sense of superiority while playing and think all other gaming forms are below me.So, here we are. More and more news is ramping up for next gen and the biggest point of contention right now is " Is the next Xbox a PC?"
What makes a PC a PC to you?
For me, its really simple.
If it is PC hardware and I can format the hard drive and install which ever OS I want, its a PC. If it is a closed environment in any way. It is not a PC.
What do you think, Gaf. What makes a PC a PC to you?
Everything is a PC. Pregnancy tests running Doom are PCs too. /sThen those are pc.
And that is what I said. Read the entire discussion.
Sorry. Misread what you quoted and edited.![]()
It was you who answered to me as if you were not agreeing with my stance
