Memes can go both ways, but surely enough you people would get some delight on seeing them occasionally.

Lately, two memes have been making me chuckle for some odd reason.

Baneposting (involves puns about big, followed by FOR YOU) really annoys me, but for some odd reason, Lankyposting doesn't, and it makes me laugh a lot. For those in the dark, Lankyposting is basically posting a picture of Lanky Kong (or similar) starting with a post "HE". Usually followed by "HAS", then "NO", and so on.

And sometimes I enjoy trolling the unfortunate, so I got exposed to trolling Ridley fans (and recently, Flygon fans, apparently there are similarities), so you have this NEVER EVER posts with regards to the purple dragon not being playable and the green dragon not getting a mega evolution.

Any meme can be funny to me if it's used sparingly or in unexpected way.

The ones I love the most are the pictures or gifs that are edited to fit the context. For example, when the plane in "plane-sunset.gif" is replaced with something else.

The best memes are the ones self-contained within Neogaf, and confined to just a thread or two. Simply because that means they haven't already been beaten into the ground.
