I use dropbox, bitcasa (RIP), spideroak (RIP), onedrive, box, google drive, MEGA, idrive, streamnation, memoir, pogogplug (RIP?), and idrive.

I use Gogle drive to write my articles and for personal storage I have two mega accounts that I have not even begun to fill up since all my files are not that big. It's mostly office documents, old music(itunes library back-up) and ebooks

Anyone has experience with Mediafire? I'm super cheap and their $24 a year for 1TB is looking pretty good.

I already use Google drive and Dropbox for documents and stuff I need everyday, but im looking into backing up an entire HDD with 600gb of jpgs.

Google Drive because 100gb/mo is cheap as fuck. Great way to store all the photos from my camera.

I don't have a ton of stuff, it's usually more for sharing pictures and videos with friends and family and then some documents, but since I have been out of school, before that, it was just everyone used jump drives.

I use about 2TB of CrashPlan for backups, 20GB of Dropbox for docs, and I have 200GB on iCloud for the impending release of Photos.app for Mac.

Dropbox. Have 7ish gb free account. Makes work so much easier with all my files synching between my office pc, home PC and laptop. Ipad as well.

Just checked out Copy because of this post, and I like what I'm seeing! Any noteworthy issues that I may have missed?

Not that I'm aware of. (Dropbox is my primary storage because I had it first and am used to the interface.)

With Copy you start out with 15GB but you get +5GB per referral. I only stopped at 25GB because that was well enough for my usage.

What's the catch with crash plan, is it really unlimited.? Could I back up 500gb of photos and 600gb of music? With the personal account?

yup, just signed up because of their $42/yr black friday deal (think today is the last day for that) and its backup as much as you want

just remember though restoring it would probably take a long time for terabytes of data, definitely advisable to have it backed up to a few local places as well

Mainly Dropbox. I have Box, OneDrive, and Zoolz, but I don't really use them.

When some of my free Dropbox storage expires, I'll probably have to use one of the others as well.

A combination of iCloud for Apple stuff, DropBox for image file storage (Not photo storage) and CrashPlan for backup. DropBox only because iCloud Drive just isn't DropBox yet.

hmm, I wanna back up my 50gb (and growing) folder to the cloud. which service offers 1TB at the cheapest rate and allows automatic sync of a folder to the cloud (both Windows & Mac OS)?

Those who want more free Dropbox space, there are several ways to get it.

1. Enable camera upload and upload some stuff - can't remember how much you get but it's a good amount
2. Link Dropbox to Mailbox - get 1GB
3. Connect to Twitter/Facebook + do other random tasks - https://www.dropbox.com/en/help/15
4. Take part in the DropQuest event when they decide to do it

I use something called foldersync on my phone. Can manage multiple different cloud storages with the one app, Quite handy i your using different ones.
