I liked it, when I first heard the term "hardcore" back in the 90ies for something being described as very very awesome or very radical..

"this is so hardcore!"...

Yeah, folks, i am that old (40 years)...

There was a time after Swingers came out that everyone was saying money

You're so money and you don't even know it

fuck those people

Fuckin' A.

Stil say it from time to time.

EDIT: I also tried to get Booyaka to catch on after playing FFVIII. I didn't have any better luck than Selphie did.

So you prefer "All your base", then, I assume? Or do we even need to go back further into the history of the internet.

Frankly, "internet memes" have pretty much always been stupid anywhere outside of the internet :Ăľ
(And most places on the internet too >.>)

I miss saying 'chinny' and rubbing my chin when I suspect someone is bullshitting me.

That was awesome. And telling people to "get bent".

I was going to say the bomb but then I realized I still say that. I say damn that's some bomb ass shit.

What's the deelio? Or is it dillio?

Idk how wide spread it was, but people I went to school with used to refer to people as a adjective + back.

For instance, if someone was fat, we would call them fatback, if someone was strong, we'd call them swollback, and if someone was skinny/frail, we would call them bitchback.

I always thought that was funny

Finna

I still hear it in my travels, but I personally don't have any circles where it would be welcome. I miss being in the loop on the lingo that the kids are using.

Same as me.
I never remember anyone I was talking with saying that phrase >.>
