Clive Owen is back, motherfucker. Blood Ties looks bitching. He's chilling with Clive Owen somewhere in the wilderness.
Michael Keaton is playing said washed up actor. He's starring in Birdman next year. The premise is, get this:
A washed up actor who once played an iconic superhero must overcome his ego and family trouble as he prepares to mount a Broadway play in a bid to reclaim past glory.

I am getting a malware warning now for the post pageThe hell? I also got it in the first two pages of this thread.
Huh, I get a malware warning from Chrome in page 2.
After brilliant work in:
Primal Fear
American History X
Fight Club
and arguably, the 25th Hour
Norton has literally, fallen off the face of the earth. I realize he was in Kingdom of Heaven (which I haven't seen), but he doesn't seem to get a lot of press these days. Before the awful Death to Smoochy, Norton was really set to take reigns as the De Niro of the next generation.
For the love of god, someone give this guy a good role!
No.Before the awful Death to Smoochy
Would he have made Avengers any better?
didn't he get blacklisted over the whole paramount italian job thing, and also that he's notoriously hard to work with? always demanding script rewrites and stuff? he's probably too smart for his own good, brilliant actor though...
Death to Smoochy + awful? Before the awful Death to Smoochy
That's what I understand - that he mailed in his performance in Italian Job to fulfill his contract and after that studios avoided him like the plague.

If American History X is more a product of Norton than Kaye, I'd say that's Norton's changes were probably a good thing. He was already having problems as early as American History X. The original director disowned the movie because of Norton's changes.
Clive Owen is back, motherfucker.
