• Hey Guest. Check out your NeoGAF Wrapped 2025 results here!

What will be your first PSVR game in October?

Rez is the only one that interests me but I'm sure I'll impulse by whatever game showcases VR in a great way regardless of whether its even a good game.

Oh shit, VR VR. Daytona with karaoke mode on too. Just hope no-one walks in while you belt out DAYYYYTOOOONNNAAAAAA. LET'S GO AWAY.

Tekken 7 and 100ft Robot Golf off the top of my head.

Daytona in VR...That would be incredible. In fact, most Deluxe Sega arcade games in VR would be terrific. Sega? Are you listening?

a whole bunch:
Rigs
EVE Valkyrie
Adr1ft
Ace Combat 7
Until Dawn
Rez Infinite
Driveclub VR

I am getting my first PSVR game this month.

It's called DOAX3.

I'm getting DOAX3 by the end of the month thankfully.

Plenty of time to grind out swimsuits so I can be ready for the future and say goodbye to the real world.

how do i get a digital, english copy of DoAX3 on my US PS4?

I probably won't be getting PSVR (at least not initially) but if I was picking it up at launch I'd probably be most interested in RIGS, EVE Valkyrie and the deep sea diving game from Sony London Studio.

I'll be getting it myself around Christmas, and will likely pick up Until Dawn and Battlezone

Diveclub VR, RIGS and Windlands are definitive get (I do hope Windlands will be at launch).

Eve Valkyrie, Ace Combat 7, BattleZone and a few other ones are on my radar, to grab if the impressions are good.

Edit: Oh and it could very well bring me back to FFXIV too.

Can we get a master list in the OP?

The only games that come to mind are Eve, Drive Club Vr and Adr1ft.
I'm extremely excited about cinematic mode.

All PSVR games are required by Sony to be playable with DS4, Its written on the PSVR box and on the sales page.

"PlayStation Camera, sold separately, is required for PlayStation VR. PlayStation Move, sold separately, is supported by some PlayStation VR software. All titles are compatible with the DUALSHOCK 4, included with every PlayStation 4."
Wow, important info right there.

Doesn't that limit what they can achieve with dual wielded moves, though?

As long as impressions are good, Ark will likely be the first game I play in VR.

Other games I plan to get:
-RIGS
-Ace Combat
-Rez

I'll probably want a gentle introduction, so maybe Playroom?

In terms of first games to buy...not sure yet. Need to read more previews/impressions. Rez, EvE, Rigs seem like obvious candidates though. Are they all launch games?

Screw that. Strap it to YOUR FACE, boot Rez and get people to shake you to the beat. Full on straight away.

Headmasters was actually pretty awesome. I tried that at E3....it was basically doing headers to soccer balls to score in various ways...simple ide yet amazingly executed

Edit: sorry for being ignorant, maybe I missed it, but does someone have the launch list of titles they could link me to?

VR Worlds and Robinson, rooting for that title because I had the opprtunity to test Dying Light on oculus thx to guys from Techland, and what blew my mind was that I could go to any place I saw on horizon...Great headtracking immersed me like crazy I felt lukę Im playing a role in an action movie...awesome feeling. Robinson and The Climb seem to capture the same thing. And btw guys from Techland are definitely brewing something for VR, but didńt want to spill some beans yet ;)

I'm probably not getting PSVR, but RIGS seems like the most interesting announced game to me so far.

Wait are there proper VR games besides tech demos? That's a news!

Didn't they say that was just something they cobbled together and it may not make the full game? Very happy to be wrong on that if they said something different.

It was a demo yeah. But I'm sure they will put in support if everything goes well.

Rez followed up by Rigs, Summer Lesson (will import it), PS VR Worlds, and Battle Zone if the impressions are good.
