Based on my impressions and experiences of smartphones that are available today, there really doesn't exist a phone that would be all-around perfect. Every single model seems to always have some drawbacks on top of the good qualities, and while some phone might not have these same drawbacks, they of course have got some different drawbacks of their own.
So here we go, my dream phone (take notes, phone manufacturers, thank you):
The display: LG G3 (2560x1440, IPS)
It just looks good, and the high resolution makes things really sharp. And the narrow bezels of LG G3 is also something I really dig. Another contender could be an OLED panel, but when it comes to smartphones, brightness is my number 1 priority. The visibility is better outdoors, and you won't be watching movies on a smartphone anyways, so there really isn't much need for "dat OLED's" perfect black levels. And I'm saying this as a current owner of Note 2.
Back design: Motorola Moto X
The Moto X not only looks sexy in its various customizable back plates, but it also feels great. It feels like it is molded to your hand, and at least the rubbery plate feels very grippy, in a good way. Did I mention I hate slippery phones?
Front design and speakers: HTC One M8
Not a huge surprise here to anybody. This is how phones should look like, and honestly there isn't much I could improve on that. It looks very modern but also timelessly classic at the same time, and those stereo speaker grills only emphasize on that.
Camera: iPhone 6+
Again, not a massive surprise. It has been claimed as the best in numerous outlets. Image stabilization, and the fastest auto focus out there.
Accessories/features/other: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Sony Xperia Z3
I have to say, I do like my Note 2's pen. I have written and drawn surprisingly many scribbles on the note application, and it is fun to play around. And being water-proof should be standard in expensive phones, so here is a shoutout to Sony on that property.
Operating system/software: iOS (iPhone) or stock-ish Android (Moto X, Nexus, HTX One M8, LG G3, Sony Xperia Z3)
At the moment, it is either iOS or Android 5.0 for me. And probably the same for a lot of other people as well. I dislike the look and feel of UI solutions such as Samsung's Touchwiz, and I feel that the UI should just stay simple, elegant and most importantly fluid and fast to use.
