What's a PC gamer to do during Black Friday?

I'm on the search for deals on laptops that can play most games at low or something.

Looking to play games like The Witcher 1-2, Bioshock Infinite, and a ton of 2D games.

Couldn't find a black Friday PC thread so why not here? Any help would be appreciated.

All the BF deals I'm seeing are for console systems and console games. It's a great time to buy a PS4 or XB1 if you've been waiting to jump in, but as someone who's trying to focus exclusively on his PC library I'm not seeing any good PC-centric deals. What am I missing? There's got to be some deep discounts on PC titles out there.

Black Friday is all year round for PC gamers with Humble Bundle, multiple platform sales (Steam, Origin, GMG etc) and PC hardware supplies flash sales for components!

But yeah, Steam sales, Origin, Amazon etc are all available for PC as much as they are for consoles but the saving aren't usually as dramatic for new AAA titles.

I bought a 960gb SSD for less than 200 bucks. I'm pretty happy so far. :D

High Five! Mine just got shipped. Stacking with Visa Checkout + AmEx promo was killer. I so badly just want to build an entire new computer right now. But patience...

Well, the DA Inquisition DLC is on sale. That's good enough for me.
Yeah, I picked up the last one, already had the other two :)
That's a cold, cold joke, friend.....

Years, some of us have waited
:( me too. If there's nothing by Christmas I'm just going to treat myself and buy it all.
Is the Mass Effect 3 DLC on sale or is that still locked behind Bioware points?

Bold move. I would, but $70 of dlc on top of a $20 trilogy seems criminal. And I wanna play with controller support, which I know you can mod in, but don't know first hand how well it works.

Still beyond me, in this new age of remasters, how that trilogy wasn't item one on EAs list. I'd pay 80 bones for all three games with all dlc. That's prolly 150-200 hours of content.

Apparently they've said they don't want to do it when resources could be spent on new games. Seems a shame though as I would definitely go all in on a PS4 collection. :)

Treating myself to a 970, but other than that, not much. Steam sales, and playing through Fallout 4. Gonna give some time for my PS4 with Bloodborne DLC and Until Dawn.

I would really like a 500 gig SSD... Missed one earlier in the Amazon sale. I'm in UK so if anyone sees anything... :-D

Looking forward to the steam sale. It'll be my first as a new PC gamer!

edit-NVM- apparantly the lightining deal tomorrow for amazon.uk is that 960Gb sandisk for £170.41

ymmv

As has been noted steam sale starts in 16 minutes, origin and uplay sales are up, as is GOG.

On the hardware side newegg and amazon have nominal price drops on some hardware, with better sales on Friday and Monday respectively.

Be happy that you get better than Black Friday deals all year long due to the extreme competition on the platform and watch OMGWTFBBQ deals roll through through the beginning of next week?

Steam sale is the only good thing about this time of the year. As others have mentioned there's plenty of hardware sales too.
