What's something you wouldn't buy used?

Just thinking about it, I'd never buy a used keyboard. I could never trust that the person before me kept it clean and that it isn't a festering mess of food crumbs. I'd only buy keyboards new.

What wouldn't you buy used?

Matrass.

[I wouldn't buy anything used. Only thing I ever bought used was a car because I got it dirt cheap]

Clothes, game consoles (bought my vita "used" but it was practically new), combs/brushes, furniture, or kitchen appliances.

I suffer from OCD.

I don't buy anything that has been used before. I can't even imagine doing something like that. I wish I was joking, but someone once used my keyboard and mouse for several minutes and it took me 1,5 weeks just go get over that and use them again myself. And this person was a relatively clean person, if someone with filthy hands would touch it... I'd probably sell them and buy a new keyboard and mouse.

How about a used home? What if it was nice?

Ah, that would be the exception I guess. At one point, I will have no choice. I currently live in a used home and I had a lot of anxiety when we moved in. The house hadn't been used for a month and quite a few spiders moved in so that made it worse. A lot worse.

However, because my own room was completely empty, I could clean it entirely. That made me feel somewhat better. I spent a lot of time making sure I cleaned everything in my room. It's been one year since we moved in here and now my own room is my "safe place". This also means I have to keep it clean at all times though :p

Serious answer, clothes.

Yeah I know, all the clothes in stores have already been tried on, but it's different going to a second-hand clothing store of shit people wore over and over

A lot of things (probably). And since the OP mentioned it....yeah, I'd don't think I'd ever buy a used keyboard either.

Teeny-tiny used DS Game Paks from GameStop. Seems legit when you buy them, but! I had to return 3 used Pokémon Platinum games (1 black screen, 1 error has occurred, one error screen from within the game's title screen).

I prefer not to buy any books used. I like my books to be in perfect condition, even after reading them. No bending pages, folding or hurting the spine. I know it doesn't really make sense as the words are the same regardless of the paper condition.

I don't know, I buy a lot of things that have been used including furniture and clothing.

Probably computer hardware. My parts need to be new.

I used to feel the same about books, but I've gotten over it. Most of the books I buy now are used because there are very good used book stores near me. Still I always make sure there's no highlighting or underlying in any of the books I buy... that I can't do.

Used books are well loved.

I would never buy a used couch/bed.
