No one is selecting the Intel Arc GPU even as a joke:messenger_grinning_sweat:. I believe the one person who voted actually owns the card, I congratulate him for his support for the advancement of the GPU market:messenger_clapping:

Too lazy to list my build. It's good enough to play almost anything at 1440p60, and plenty at 120fps.

Honestly surprised the controller option is doubling the amount of keyboard warriors in a PC specific thread.

I feel like its pretty situational depending on the game, I use both. Typically keyboard but then controller for anything action 3rd person

I got an old PC I pretty much play CSGO, emulation and an occasional Microsoft exclusive thanks to game pass PC.

AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT @ 4.5Ghz all core OC with a 240mm corsair AIO WC.
32Gb DDR4 @ 3200Mhz
Asrock B450 Steel Series
2TB nvme pci-e gen3
2TB m-sata m2 SSD.
Msi RTX 2060 6gb Gamming Z OC +138mhz core +1000mhz vram, under clocked
27'' 1440@144hz display from a generic brand they sell in my country (Brazil)
8bitdo Ultimate gamepad 2.4ghz
Logitech G553 keyboard and G502 Hero Mouse combo.
PS5 wireless headset for Audio (it works on PC, Switch and PS5 😂)

---------------------------------------

For consoles, I have a Nintendo Switch with plenty of controllers for couch multiplayer. And A PS5 Digital Edition with a 2TB nvme upgrade. The PS5 is my primary place to play games.

Intel i9, 1080ti, and 32GB Ram. To top it off I have state of the art 3MBPS net connection so I can get up to 350kbps download. I know you guys are envious, it's OK. I run 1440p and whatever FPS is reasonable. I'm not stuck on wanting/needing 60 fps much less higher than that.

This is actually a great thread for me as I’m new and can’t create them yet, I’m fully aware my pc is pretty archaic but I’m more of a console gamer and use this primarily for emulation.

I have a PSVR but I’m just wondering what my chances of running some pcvr is through this...

I've just changed in May for Diablo IV release, now rocking BG3 after one month playing Kingdom Come Delivrance

I have a Ryzen 5 7600 with a 4070, 32gb DDR5, 2Tb nvme gen 4, couple of old SSD and HDD. I have a 144/165hz display but since I work from home in front of monitors day long, I play instead on my 4K TV generally with a controller when possible. I received a lapboard for my birthday and since then, I went back to kb/m but in front of the TV, it's perfect, BG3 runs at full details at 4K/60hz, can't ask for more really. I expect that my perfs will tank with Starfield though.

Even youtube becomes slow today
The 3770 is a great 4 core 8 thread CPU. The real issue is all the exploits CPUs of that era got that Intel needed to patch. The sum of those patches drastically reduced performance upwards of 40%. So the 3770 is way slower now than it was at launch.

Thinking about upgrading mobo/cpu/memory with Intel 14th gen.

Are these windows related patches and fixes or would it be the same performance drop with Linux?

I managed to beat all four runs of Resident Evil 2 (2019) on a PC with an i3 6100, 4 GB of 1333 MHz RAM, no SSD, and using the iGPU.
My tolerance for subpar graphics is unmatched. I've been doing that since the Half-Life 2 days when I had to wait up to 5 minutes per loading screen.

I find the Arc GPUs so interesting and honestly they seem like a really good value as I've seen them hit $200 multiple times. I'm super interested in what they can do with a new generation of product. Plus anything to disrupt the Nvidia/AMD shitshow is welcome.

Yeah that makes sense. I do use controller more than I used to even though I'm still primarily m&k. Some games just feel made for one or the other. I play a lot of games like Total War, obviously m&k. I use m&k for shooters as well, just feels better to me even though I know lots of people prefer controller. Using m&k for BG3 also right now.

But outside of those style games, I do use controller a lot.
