No one, really. I was friends with that guy Johnny Cupcakes, who has made an absurd amount of money designing those cupcake/crossbones shirts, back right around the time he started out. I recall him making Goonies pins and stuff and selling them at local festivals before coming up with the shirt idea.

I sent her a text. Dude, after looking at their pictures of the trip; I want to go next time. Too many hot chicks.

Meeting people doesn't count.
My list would asplode.

This should be like, you-could-invite-them-to-a-party level friends.

My front runner would definitely be Tony Matterhorn from the dancehall soundsystem King Addies and he's got a decent following all by himself now as a soloist. Nicki Minaj mentions him in "Monster"

When she says:
"Tony Matterhorn dutty whine it, whine it."

Him. He's a cool guy.

In Chile ? i dont know, they kinda wear make up obsesivelly at an early age, i didnt found that many hot chicks there really..

I can't say there "famous" per se. But they are if you're a classical guy.

I've met and was taught by most of the famous classical guitarists of the late 90s/early 2000s.

Christopher Parkening
Sharon Isbin
Manuel Barrueco
Laurino and others.

I've hung and at times played with each of the members of the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet (though never all at once).

I've met Itzhak Perlman, Emanuel Ax, James Levine and Isaac Stern (Levine was a jerk, Itzhak was freaking awesome) and hung with Chanticleer once as well as the Anonymous 4. I shook Yo Yo Ma's hand once and played with one of his students.

I've given performances of new pieces with the composer in the audience (Dayley, Sargent, and York).

As for really famous person. I once hung out with the Pet Shop Boys...I didn't know they were gay at the time.

Not in the pics I have seen. Most of the chicks were here cousins (not related to me). Those women were fine.

Where did you say you were from?

Edit: I've met Josh Koscheck a few times. My friend and him are special friends.

My wife works at one of Michael Symon's restaurants and has met a number of the Food TV "celebrities".

She said Chef Anne Burrell is just gigantic, not "fat", really, but just big in every way. Also, Symon's real laugh is hilarious.

Oh, also was in the same grade as this girl in highschool: http://www.officiallindsaymessina.com/ You cannot imagine how much everyone freaked out when semi-nudes showed up online. Now she's a model for fitness shit or something.
awesome. Symon seems like a cool guy.

Yeah it was their Behavior tour and I was like 14 or 15. Sort of a shock.

I've been thinking that I don't know any artists actually. I would like to know someone really brilliantly creative, like a painter or sculptor who will be known long after they die.

I would also like to know a crazy mathematician. I know post grad maths students but none of them will ever be world renowned.

I went to high school with Cedric Griffin he's a cornerback with vikings. Him and my friend had a german class together that class ended up giving the teacher a nervous breakdown.

He was a close friend of the family growing up. He's also a fucking nutjob lol. I've never met a more eccentric guy.

Maynard James Keenan (last time I talked to him was 1996, so I wouldn't say I know him any more but I did for a while)

John Mellencamp (I am a relative, haven't seen or talked to him since I was a kid around 1988 or 89)

I don't, personally, but several friends of mine went to high school with Kenny Britt, wide receiver for the Tennessee Titans. The high school is near my apartment. They have absolutely nothing nice to say about him, but love his father who I think was/is a basketball coach and the rest of his family. :lol

Another friend is a cousin of Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance.

If there are GAFers in the Hoboken/NYC area and might have ever seen the group One Word Song, I went to college with the lead singer. That's as far as it goes.

My mom was also pretty famous :lol at least in latin america

mkAhX.jpg

she's the blond

that was a children's music group, they did lots of shows in Argentina, Paraguay, Chile etc

They became pretty famous for making kid's songs with lyrics that would have "hidden messages" about the dictatorship status of our (and others) countries. So basically the "Fuck da Police" children's version :lol

She still sings and makes music albums for childrens besides hosting a children oriented Radio show.

So yeah children.

oh you know the guy that painted that Jesus with the constitution picture? My sister in law knows him and thinks he's great. (Trying to find a print of the Cthulu edit to send to the guy).

Not getting into specifics, but my cousin is a CEO of a company and he's pretty well known. In fact, there was once a thread that was talking about the company, and you guys were saying he was stupid for some decision he made. So screw you guys!

wicked, I am going to see Tool at a festival I am going to at the start of Feb.

He is a big wine lover and my state makes some of the best wine in the world. Maynard bought the most expensive wine ever in Australia which is a from a winery close to where I live. (paid in the tens of thousands of dollars for it).
