Who is the best Mario character?

The main man right here. He's entertaining in the Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi games. Even in the games where he doesn't much of a personality it rolls in style (his kart, the Clown thing in SMW). He has his own kingdom with a badass fleet, and he's fun as hell to use in battle. I was ecstatic to see him i Wreck it Ralph.
Luigi is a nice runner up, though.

The fact that Waluigi isn't in Mario Kart 7 is one of the greatest injustices in the video game industry and is, no fucking lying, why I don't play it.
How did I forget this guy? He beats Bowser on my list.
That would imply that a wario ware rpg wouldn't happen instead. The best Idea that should have happened several decades ago.

Peach's Down+A was godly in Melee, was sad to see it nerfed a bit in Brawl.
The message I'm getting here is that it takes very little to be a good character compared to others in the Mario universe.

Yoshi is my favorite.

Gonna drop some truth-bombs here:
- Waluigi was only created so Wario an have a partner that will be the anti-Luigi in Mario Tennis
- Waluigi has only appeared in sports and karting games (and was not even in Mario Kart 7 lol)
- Was also the villain for DDR: Mario with a wrecking crew reference?
- Doesn't start in his own game
- Doesn't appear in any mainline game
- Doesn't mean much to the Mario universe if he was gone
- Doesn't amount to anything other than anti-Luigi
- Wario is much better at being an anti-bro than Waluigi

Waluigi is okay and has his place. His place is not along the most important characters, though. Not sure why that's so hard to accept - same with Daisy. They're spin-off material, and that's fine! I just don't get it when people want these characters in main Mario games and stuff, but that's just me.

She was a really good captain in Mario Strikers Charged.
Fast, aggressive and a cheap special move that not many people could handle adequately.

Such a bad-ass enemy. Still one of the most difficult enemies to kill although that's not saying much. I really hope he shows up in Mario Kart.

I only brought up the mainline games point because Waluigi is the only character that was created in Mario Tennis to be the opposite of Luigi. Every other character was in a mainline Mario game.
