Who sells Nintendo DS Phat stylii??

not sure if stylii is the proper pluralization but...

I can't find these

anywhere

Not Gamestop/EB, not Walmart, not Target. The worst part is, I knew this would happen. Therefore I'd been keeping my eye on them over the past year, hoping to catch them when they went on sale to clear out for Lite accesories. But I guess this happened overnight, cause I missed it. Now I've lost my stylish pink Kriby stylus, and I'm left with nothing.

So has anyone seen these at any store lately? Nintendo has them in their online store, but I'd hate to pay shipping on a few peices of plastic.

Try Toys R Us, my store still sells them (we still get them in) but they're only a sales ad away from being on clearance since we're moving towards full on DSLite accessories and the like now.

Are these them?

An eBay search for "ds stylus -lite" popped up a bunch of those. They don't have the same curve on the end as my ds lite ones, so I think they're old versions...

thanks Avrum, toys R Us should've been my first stop but I'm rarely there anymore. It makes a bit of sense that they'd hold 'em the longst since a lot of kids probably ended up with the old model.

I think the ebay ones are non-OEM, which gets me paranoid about screen scratches. I did find official models on Amazon for cheaper than Nintendo's store wants, but I'd rather just pick them up somewhere, so hopefully Toys R Us still has them

I like these ones.

They call them a "Pen Stylus," and they're pretty comfortable. Full pen size, and the stylus tip retracts with a clicker like a pen does. The only problem is that the stylus doesn't tuck away into the DS anywhere, but you can use the pocket clip to clip it to your case (assuming you have one). I found them once at a Circuit City in the States about a year ago, and saw them recently at a Wal-Mart up here in Canada. There's also some color selection available (I think I remember seeing some in red and blue and orange and purple, in addition to the plain black and white).

I find myself slightly worried sometimes that the retract mechanism could nick the side of the stylus tip, scratching it (which would then make scratches on the screen), but it's never happened to me, and having the tip retracted probably saves it from other potential abuse.
