Amazon wont ship outside USA for games... why?

I went to NCSX but they price is ridiculous... most old games still cost $50 compared to $20 at amazon. :(

Funny, just today I had someone from France asking if he could buy Romancing SaGa from me, because Amazon wouldn't let him buy it. I told him to pay me $35 via Paypal and I would ship it out. He did, and I am..

A lot of buyers will be reasonable like that. Not all, but a lot.

Isn't every Amazon region like this? Amazon Japan won't ship games outside of Japan afaik and the same most likely holds true for other european countries...

that canadian shop has pretty good selection but quite pricey too... can anyone recommend others?

but those shops are mainly for consoles (which is good, but I also shop for PC game)... so am I out of luck to purchase Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 Deluxe? So far amazon.com is the only one selling right now....

Ah, found a good one - GameExpress.com. No PC games, but they have a truly superior selection of console titles, including a lot of older titles which are, amazingly enough, all new and factory sealed..

Quite pricey compared to what, exactly? Looking at the title listed first on both sites (Battlefront II) VGP is more expensive, true. But only by $1 or so, and the shipping is so much cheaper it more than makes up for that. You are accounting for the fact that the Canadian dollar is worth a lot less than the US dollar, yes?

have you tried www.dvdboxoffice.com? a Canadian site that I use from time to time.

They are lying, incompetent thieves, and you should not order from them.

I'm in France and I usually go :

- US games
-> Tronixweb or Playasia

- JP games
-> Playasia or Japanpa

I'm waiting for now a LONG time for my last shipment from playasia, but it seems normal as another one from amazon.com is taking the same time.

Play-Asia are no good if you're in Europe and want PSP stuff. I switched to YesAsia for that.. also YesAsia has free shipping for orders over $39 and if you live in the UK they will pay the VAT for you, so you don't get any hassle from Customs.

DVDCrave are Australian (and therefore PAL rather than US games), aren't they? I got some great deals from them in the past, though.

I've often found US games there. Recently Mario Kart DS (which was about $6 cheaper than from VG+) :) But yes, they primarily carry PAL games. It's just worth checking out if you're looking for a particular game.

Also, a game sitting in your queue after release date for over 2 weeks with the status "doing fuck all" clearly gives them a woody.
