Why did Capcom only make 7 copies of Castlevania:Dawn of Sorrow?

Yeah, I'm still looking for my copy. Sad thing is that I kept seeing it BEFORE I got my DS Lite, the second I get it though all the stores don't have it. Probably not a coincidence though.

where the hell do you live? I've seen copies of this game everywhere. It won't move off the shelves until they drop the friggin price.

A town with no gaming mom-and-pop shops, two EBs and no gamefly/gamestop/compucenter/etc, and the only place you're going to see arcade games are at the movie theatre.

I'm pretty sure you could, but that requires effort which is the opposite of being a lazy slob.

Lazy slob >> * :p

Finally bought a new PSP, but then pushed the demon onto someone else. Jesus.
Here's a tip:

EB/Gamestop is now in most bad neighborhoods (in DC anyway). Thank goodness too, because apparently, hoodlums don't play GBA/DS games much as all the rare ones are very easy to find. I just copped Dawn of Sorrow, new.

The sucky part is that they're very unorganized and often can't find those tiny ass DS carts.

shut uuuuuuuuuuuuuuup
I searched buy/sell sections of a number of game forums until I found myself a copy. Got it fairly cheap too. You can get it if you really want

Madden for 360 must be the rarest game in that city.

Dawn of Sorrow kicks the crap out of the GBA games and then some (except Castlevania 1 NES classic, which can never be toppled).

I don't know what the problem is. I ordered it from Amazon brand new a couple weeks ago. I believe it came from Target.

My Gamestop still has new copies of it too.

Did you buy your copy used? If you did, you're probably sucking on the cum of the previous owner while beating over Soma porn (that's a chick right?). :p

I had to head to a best buy south of Houston (pearland to be exact) to pick up a copy, but it was defintely worth it.

That was about 1 month before the DSL came out - it's been tough to find in Houston for a while now.

New, not that that makes it's sterile or anything. Tastes better in milk.

Hey, I've been hunting this title for 2weeks after buying my DSlite on day one.

I was going to all the usual retailer, Toys R Us, ebgames and Best Buys and there wasn't a trace of the game anywhere.

... Then I tried my local "no-name" game shop. Guess what there was a shiny new copy for 34.99 !!!

The guy even put a new fresh copy on the rack after selling me mine. Wuzaaaah, try the local non-affiliated shop, might get lucky there.

The local non-affiliated shops around here suck and never have anything good, and even if they do it's full price - or more, in the case of Music for a Song.

Well, good news, losers. Capcom sent me my copy. Apparently, they special-made mine for the ultra-rare 8th copy. Final Diagnosis: Fricken sweet.

Damn this game kicks all sorts of ass. Better than NSMB. Fact. IAWTP. /thread.

I've played it at least 6 hours each day. I'm intent on getting every sword and axe builted up but I think I need the 'Soul' ring. It's a pain in the ass trying to kill 4000 of the same enemy to get one soul. Ah, but this game is so nice, I don't mind running in & out of the same room to try this.

Bosses kick ass with their variety, the music is outstanding, the dialogue is just right (it's funny to hear the chick and merchant talk about each other like GAF OT 'OMG, she looked at me, LOLLERZ!').

The true story is that Best Buy spent 1 1/2 weeks sending it to me. So it wasn't that hard. As well, for people still trying to get this game, there was another thread about Konami's website will send it to you. Get this game.

WOOT!

Sucks that it took you so long Skinnyrattler. I didn't bother to bump this thread when I got it, but I found the game at a Best Buy over a week ago. But I've played about 6 hours total over that time.

You suck. You should have played it for 40 hours straight. Boo.

Yeah, I probably didn't look that deep but I couldn't find it a 1 Best Buy and 1 gamespot. I'm not interested in looking thru 6 different stores. It should be online easily. Oh well, I'll preorder the next since this one rocks.

It's because Konami thinks that any Castlevania handheld game sells like shit.

Yet it sold very well, despite not having any advertising at all.
