I went to PAX. Only convention I've really been to actually, and it didn't smell bad. Except when we were standing in line before the doors open, there was a pretty noticeable funk in the room. It's especially bad when you're sort of short compared to all the tall dudes standing next to you.

My guess is the multiplier. Normally you don't run into too many people with BO during your life, but with anime cons it can become unavoidable at times, and because of that it's overwhelming to the unprepared nose.
