I wanted to make this thread because we have a little over a month left, before all the bullshit we've been going through this past year finally comes to a head. In this election we have 2 of arguably the most unfavorable candidates running for office in modern history. And I am scratching my head wondering... why?
I can obviously understand why Trump is unpopular, and I can even understand why the average conservative dislikes Clinton (since they'd dislike any democrat). But what I can not understand is why so many moderates and even left leaning people dislike her. This is a trend I've noticed not just on this site, but also on tons of other social media platforms and I do not get it.
I was a Bernie sanders supporter. I always knew he wasn't going to win, and always planned to switch support to Clinton when she eventually won the primaries. Now I can understand people are frustrated that he didn't win, but that's well and done with and even he has endorsed Clinton. It frustrates me to know end, the fact that I still see so many Bernie or busters, or people voting 3rd party, or people just deciding to not vote at all.
Which is ultimately why I wanted to make this thread because I honestly feel like most of the dislike about her is based off of misinformation and the completely uneven standards given to the 2. It feels like Clinton needs to be 100% perfect at all times and if she drops down even to 99% she is given the exact same amount of criticism that Trump gets for being at fucking 5%.
