There is so much wrong with this post.

1. False. People will rebuy games and many will buy them since they missed them the first time around. It's not going to be a ton of new sales, but more then enough to justify the cheap cost.

2. EA only has Battlefield as it's annual franchise and thats really not annual.

3. Bad press? This has got to be one of the worst arguments I have read on GAF. It's not bad press to re-release a game that people are obviously asking for. Otherwise they wouldn't be re-releasing them.

I can't believe I actually wasted time responding to this post since it's probably sarcasm.

1) You need to read my sentence again. Pay special attention to ' and already played it '.

2) The point applies equally to bi-annual franchises, or pretty much any franchise, as mentioned.

3) It's not an argument, it's an opinion. I wasn't even talking with you, so can't really be arguing I don't think, mearly sharing some reasons why they do not make them, or should not.

4) Numbered points are good, and we should keep this going. Maybe read my post properly next time, then you can waste less time not responding.*

It's probably a licensing issue more than anything. A very high percentage of EAs most popular 'non-sports' games have either a shit tonne of licensed music or cars, skate equipment etc an would probably be a headache to get off the ground.

Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3 remastered into Frostbite 3 would be incredible but wont happen (way too much work).

We MIGHT get ME1 truly remastered with a new engine but 2 and 3 will just be pc versions with small tweaks running at 1080p/60.

EA might also George Lucas the whole trilogy though too....
