So a couple days ago, I got Conker's Bad Fur Day for my N64 and have been playing it for the past two days. This is actually my first time playing the game properly, and I'm enjoying it so far.
But I've been thinking about Conker: L&R recently, and I was wondering why the game was so heavily censored compared to the original. I've never played the remake, but from what I've seen and heard, it's way more censored. This makes no sense at all. It's kinda mind boggling actually. Why would a remake on the Xbox be way more censored than its N64 counterpart? Seems like it would be the other way around, wouldn't it? Was it Microsoft that censored it, or was it Rare themselves who made the decision?
I always hear about the remake being more censored, but I've never really heard the reason why it was. I've had this question for awhile now, and I want it answered once and for all.
Does anybody here on GAF know?
