Do this now, Nintendo. There are a bunch of suggestions that may never happen - even though it should've been designed properly in the first place, they may not be possible now - but this is easy. Fix it.

Don't worry now, stuff needs to be gathered, and I don't have all the time in the world either, especially now that holidays are closing in.

Searching the web for some loose discussions on various forums could be a good idea since I can find more stuff to add by digging that.

I asked that guy to explain about that on the last page, he didn't respond yet.

Needs to accept voice chat via USB. I don't understand why Nintendo did not include this. So idiotic..

This one. I have two USB mic's and neither work. For shooters a lot of us use the Wiimote so having to be tethered to the gamepad is not an ideal setup. Let us use USB headsets that are either wireless or plugged into the console itself.

Also for the friends list, there seem to be a lot of ?????? that appear. The system only has so many games out, why aren't they registered in the friend list yet? It seems like only games that I also own will be recognized. I thought one of their big things was word of mouth advertising through wara wara and such, but all I get is ?????? when trying to see what other games my friends are playing.

In Wara Wara, let me move the camera around when it is up on the TV. Right now you have to switch it to the gamepad view and then you can move it around a bit to get a better view of some of the upper and lower icons. Let me do that on the TV as well. You have 2 sticks now Nintendo, so you can use them both.

Fix the hard locks. And if you can't prevent them all from happening, at least somehow get in the functionality of powering down the system without having to unplug it. I've never seen anything where you can't just hold down the power button for a minute or so and it'll hard power down the system.

I'd also second the request to let us customize the background/wallpaper of wara wara. Let us use screen shots or our own art or something.

This is fairly unlikely, they won't support old stuff, but I'll add it to the wishlist about the Re-releases that are coming to eShop directly, stuff like old GameCube remasters or something as Reggie hinted about.

I still really think Nintendo should have a Community in Miiverse for the console itself. People can express their opinions or wishlist on OS functions and the console in general. Would give a good indication as to what the overall community wants in future updates.

Given the potential lifespan of the Wii U (if this last/current gen is anything to go by), I can't see Nintendo selling peripherals for old systems in 2+ years time. The Wii's classic controller is the only way to play a ton of content on the original Wii shop. Pro controller support may actually happen down the road...hopefully.

EDIT: But then they'll have to sell Wii remotes I guess. Still, I wish.

Is overscan what you call it when the screen is cut off on your monitor? Because I bought a brand-new Samsung Smart TV, and have to switch between Just Scan and 16:9 video settings depending on which part of the OS I'm using. Wii Mode? 16:9, or the screen is bordered by a black bezel. Wii U? Just Scan, or the image is cut off on all sides.

Sorry about that, totally missed your request. What I meant was that right now you can't point with a cursor/hand at the TV WiiU Menu unless you use a Wiimote, so you're moving around the menu grid with the sticks. I would like to "point" with the Gamepad instead, just like you do in Nintendo Land, no IR, just gyro, tilt the controller to move the cursor/hand.
