Yes. You need at least the power of the original iPad.You need power to use those features.
Yes. You need at least the power of the original iPad.You need power to use those features.
In a sense, yes.
But it's not about having raw poly pushing power.
It's about having the APIs and what not.
You need power to use those features.
Only the bold is really needed though
But whatever, if you don't see how people could want that, I dunno what to tell you.
Nintendo will use Tesla Coils.Battery and/or outlet? Yes.
Yes, but I don't think Epic would support it officially if Wii U is too weak.
I use it for some seasons of shows, and that's about it.
I really try to avoid it because it's slow and a resource hog. Sorry, I just don't see why Nintendo would need iTunes on their console.
That's a plausible scenario as well. A game or demo might not be shown, but making an announcement like that (e.g. EA last E3) is something I could see.
I just knew you weren't going away. And I'm happy about that.I don't think its legal to fuck and then marry a thread, but I'm not sure.
Sorry, I just don't see why Nintendo would need iTunes on their console.
Nonsense. Epic has been all over every Nintendo console that could run UE2.5, and will run UE4 on mobile devices far weaker than the Wii U.Yes, but I don't think Epic would support it officially if Wii U is too weak.
Sorry, I get that people would be "excited" (if only because it would be a talking point) in iTunes being on the Wii U, but I see neither the actual reason for it to happen or any way in all the billions of hells that it would even be possible.
While I agree that modern hardware is very important for the portability of games (not engines), DX11 grade hardware really only has a single distinguishing feature from previous architectures. The vast majority of engine features would still work easily.True. And this is why it's important that Wii U have DX11-equivalent hardware and APIs. UE4 will probably completely jettison DX9 and 10 support.
As I said, this is like not seeing a reason to have Netflix. Plain and simple. Unless you don't actually see the reason for that, either.
I just knew you weren't going away. And I'm happy about that.
Speaking of out of nowhere... what ever happened to The Grinder and Animales de la Muerte? Did High Voltage fail to get a publisher? They are quite sloppy.
Except that I can use Netflix on any device with a screen. I can only use iTunes on Apple devices.
And I simply don't see that changing, especially for Nintendo.
Not sure if serious...

Nintendo will use Tesla Coils.
They'll support it if they can make money off it.

Epic isn't going to miss this revenue stream because of "lol nintendo". Come on.

I'm just really bored tonight (;
I may come back more often that I initially stated though d:
Good to know people like me around here
What about it isn't serious?
Can you use iTunes on your Droid?
The only thing that isn't Apple that can run it is the PC, and it's a horrible program.
And, once more, I don't, for any reason, see Apple or Nintendo saying they want iTunes on the Wii U.
And that depends on whether or not they think they'll make much money on it. PS4 and XB3 will be the main platforms for the engine, and if Wii U is too weak to get good ports from them, most devs might just stick to UE3 on Wii U. Of course, this is all just my cynical opinion.
At the very least, even if Wii U meets DX11 specs, it might not be powerful enough that Epic would want to, say, show a demo of it running on Wii U at Nintendo's conference.
I get that it would be "simple" in theory.
I don't see how it would benefit Apple (who would have to approve and make the program) or even Nintendo (other than it being a "checked box" I suppose).
And I just do not see Apple ever in a billion years, wanting it to happen.
Yeah, this doesn't explain at all why netflix is desirable but itunes is not.
Oh you!You make this place a hellishly good time
OKAY I CAN RESOLVE THIS!
WINDOWS LIVE MEDIA PLAYER WII U EXCLUSIVE!!!11!1!
Oh you!
iTunes integration on Wii U would be heavenly.
If Wii U gets UE4, we can all bank on Mark Rein showing-up on stage with Miyamoto, Iwata, and Reggie. It will be quite the headliner image.
Bad to worse.
Give me VLC.

Because, if I own a non Apple portable device, I can still use Netflix on it. I can not use iTunes on it.
wii u is not getting itunes support
Are you forgetting about the iSteambox already?

The reason why Netflix was big on consoles was because it's a visual medium primarily and consoles are usually hooked up to the biggest screen in the house. But this is demonstrably false with the sole exception being android products.
You think hundreds of millions of people wont see the value of the obscenely popular itunes software on a console because you don't have an ios device or because you don't use itunes on your PC? That's just silly, man.
No, but I can on my iPhone. And my Mac. And iPods and iPads. Which SEVERAL MILLION PEOPLE OWN, moreso than any Android device you can throw out there.
And the reason for either company wanting it to happen is simple: so people don't see one less feature on WiiU that they can get on a MS or Sony box, and for Apple to stick it to Microsoft in ownership of the living room. This is a pretty simple reason and goes beyond just a talking point.
But never mind, more options are bad unless they can be used on EVERYTHING, so decrees AceBandage.... never mind that he's suggesting something needs to be usable on every device for it to be useful at all on a CLOSED PLATFORM DEVICE.
The Grinder would be epic for Wii U, considering that it actually looked ambitious and had a nice style unlike the generic Conduit series. Animales would also be great, eShop or retail, hell a retail 3DS game would work as well.

With iTunes on the Wii U, there's just no point in it. If you are using iTunes, you already have a device that is more than capable of playing, and likely one of the portable devices that you can use while you play a console.
There's something special about a new Nintendo console's unveiling. Makes me feel like a kid again.
Anyone else super excite?I don't know about you, but I'm excited for the eventual Wii U port of Country Dance 2 and Country Dance All-Stars.
