My god, I downloaded the client earlier and thought everything was good to go (even tried to login). Now it's at 4% for whatever it's downloading, wtf.

If it's like WoW used to be it downloaded the base game first followed by all subsequent patches since the game first launched.

and I guess "boxed" purchasers not having the limitations without paying wasn't true...only had 2 character slots when I logged in

You can skip it after you do it once and make a new character, and you should try all the classes up to level 5-6 anyway to get a feel

I really love the style of the CG of this game. Ratchet and Clank x 100. It's like CG + hand drawn, it looks so good.

Bought the game on launch day, had fun. Questing was boring but like the dungeons, let the sub run out. Said to myself I'll play it when it goes F2P.

This game pushed me to fix my pc, changed the thermal paste 3 hours ago and now my pc runs better. Hooray I can play with my cute pug chua.

There is that to be said about it for sure, but I truly found the combat lacking; yes it was "cool" fast and fun but it wasnt exactly smart outside of dodging fire occasionally.

Yea I think the first time i found out i really wasn't into GW2 was my first dungeon run. It was just...zergs. And some dodging thrown in.

I don't want to dog the game but I just kept logging in for freebies and that was about it.
