I'm trying to create an account but I can't verify my email address because the link I click on takes me to a page that gives me an error. Tried it on multiple browsers and no dice. Is this a known issue?

no, but it's better than it was. It's very different in some key ways, so some aspects are better some are worse. It's certainly better than every non-wow MMO though at least

The Developers left the account creation pointing to the QA servers. You can see this if you (in google chrome) right click on the window that appears when going to verify your email and selecting View Page source. The new tab that opens starts with https://qa.account.wildstar-online
Here is how to fix it:
Copy/paste this link into your browser:
https://account.wildstar-online.com/user/simple/email/verify?lang=en&authText=
Copy the letters/numbers AFTER authText= in your emailed link:
Example:

I had previously left the game sit for like 30+ minutes after it was stuck on the hourglass cursor after character creation. I just logged back in and I see that my character has been created and is available now. It wasn't before, but according to the Twitter, they restarted the servers I guess.

Yeah, they really did a freaking number on the performance issues that plagued launch. Game runs amazingly on CF 7970s, downsampled, and max settings. I don't think I ever saw more than 40FPS back at launch.

Can confirm, at least before f2p. The whole game feels much better (I only played the beta before launch)

You can costume anything anyway so it won't mean a lot, but if you click on your class on character select you can see what the raid armor looks like for every class. Medics look the best

that said this is a highly cosmetic oriented game and always was, most people don't even wear their actual armor.

Any idea if they are claimable on all characters? Or just one?

Thanks I will have to take another look but I know I wanna do Stalker as my main so waiting for character creation to hopefully make my character soon. Trying to do what you said you did a few posts up but twice now I've been kicked for inactivity... very Ironic considering the game is what is being inactive haha.

Maybe I'll make a male character. I don't do that often, but between aurin and human female, I'm not very happy with the presentation choices. Especially how waify they look, even with the thickest body type.
